    Paul and his crew have completed at least 3 projects for my family. They are always friendly, do a great job, and are within budget. Would recommend them to anyone.

    Home Renovation

    Handy Guys Home Renovation provided home renovation services that included drywall and framing. The workers were professional and on time. Workspace was cleaned up at the end of each work day. The overall cost of the project was fair and reflected the end result which was excellent! We expect no less than perfection and the job that we received was just that. Should we require future renovations we would hire Handy Guys Home Renovation.

    Handyguys removed old flooring, leveled all floors (including a 1-1/2 inch difference between kitchen and living room, and sagging corners of rooms). They laid hardwood throughout living room, dining room, kitchen, den and halls. They constructed new entry stairs and tiled the entry hall. The work was done perfectly - I don't have a threshold anywhere - floors flow seamlessly throughout. The job was perfectly done, including trim. I would highly recommend them to anyone. An amazing job!

    Handy Guys, Armstrong, BC ( Paul) service was terrible, came in at twice the budget, ( had to go to court) His quote states clean up and removal as part of the quote yet charged me numerous hours for clean up, even charged me for clean tools/? Days and days of no shows and no communicaton except for the odd text. He said ( and as per his invoice) everything to code, I had another contractor come in to fix multiple issues after they left. ( breakers popping, plumbing issues etc) bad experice

    Mr McWhirter was provided three separate estimates on three different projects and decided to proceed with two of the three projects. The first project was completed without issue or complaint. The second project was to create a suite for his mother-in-law. He was informed at the beginning of the project that he would not be able to get a permit to create this suite, as he was not zoned correctly for it. He wished to proceed anyway, and during the course of the project there were numerous additions made by the McWhirters to the scope of work outside of the original estimate. These changes affected not only final bill, but also the timeline. At the end of the project we eventually had to take the McWhirters to court for non-payment. Mr McWhirter was thrown out of the courtroom by the judge for making threatening comments to us and our company. When he has seen us in public, he has yelled verbal threats and it appears that this posting is another attempt by him to “get us.”

    Poor communicatio...

    Poor communication ask him for something he gives something else and don't even let him touch anything electrical. I ended up firing him

    Mr Aeichele hired us in 2008 to complete a major renovation to his house. His electrical upgrade was completed by a very competent licensed electrical contractor. He did not fire us, we stopped construction when he lost his job and his loan application for funding the project was rejected. He has never issued a complaint to us at any point in the last eight years.

    Paul came out loo...

    Paul came out looked at the job said he would email quote never heard back. Maybe the job was too small (installing bathroom vanities). He seemed nice and assured us he would get back to us either way. Not impressed.

    We left at least five phone messages for Shelley to set up a time to install her vanities, and several emails, including one on the very same day that this review was written. We never received a response, so her file was closed.
