"Dying is easy, comedy is hard" goes the oft-repeated classic saying. But the difficulty of playing comedy – and moreover, writing it – is where Sheila Sharma shines, not to mention her convincing musical-theatre chops. As writer, performer and director of The Giggle Dam Dinner Theatre, and co-owner with her husband and performer Mark Friebe, Sheila is making the seemingly impossible happen: opening a new show every three months.

Having written nearly 40 shows and performing year-round, Sheila and Mark are accompanied by a multi-talented troupe, an ensemble cast that collectively tickles Port Coquitlam's funny bone every Friday and Saturday night (and sometimes Sunday) with their unique brand of politically incorrect comedy that's been raising eyebrows and splitting sides since 2001.
