DON'T EAT HERE!!

So I'm at Denny's in Terrace for breakfast this morning. I walk in and one of the staff is talking to her boyfriend totally ignoring me. After a minute,and standing next to a 3 foot sign that says "please wait to be seated" I said "should I seat myself then?" She looks around and says "yeah, sit anywhere" There are 3 other diners in the restaurant. As I sit down, I overhear a customer complaining about her order. A waitress asks me if I would like a coffee, I say "No thanks, I will have an orange juice". 10 seconds later, she brings me a coffee. I get that sorted out, place my order and read Media Clips for a while. My order is taking a while so I look at the kitchen and my order is sitting in the window. 4 waitresses and a manager are next to the counter chatting about hair styles, babysitters and shoes. I catch the eye of one of them and give them my best "Customer waiting - do your job" look. She goes to the window, picks up my order and starts walking to my table, one hand holding my order and the other holding my toast. Halfway there, I'm not making this up, she sneezes right on my food. She is now standing next to my table, plate in each hand, with a big snot string hanging from her nose. (I also notice my order is wrong) She turns and runs away. They made me pay for my Orange juice and I left. Don't eat at Denny's in Terrace!

Awful

I have visited Denny's twice. The first time my husband and I ordered an appetizer platter and my daughter had a burger with fries. It was terrible. Speaking from many years experience in the restaurant industry, I assume they had not changed their deep fryer oil in a VERY long time. The service and cleanliness however was great. The second time we visited was for breakfast. My daughter has burnt bacon and my french toast was fine but the fruit cup had old fruit that was cut very poorly. I couldn't even eat it. Overall I believe that the kitchen staff is to blame for the problems. The wait staff on the other hand was great each time. That being said, I will never eat there again.
