Imagine kilometres of sandy oceanfront, waves lapping the shoreline, the sun melting into the horizon; it's the soothing scene outside White Rock's Pamper Me Day Spa. Inside, the extension of said tranquility — an ultimate escape in relaxation, and the only spa on the waterfront in the Lower Mainland.

Louise Sparrow grew up in White Rock and launched into the business of pampering woman at just 13 — giving ladies facials in her mother's kitchen. After high school she enrolled at Blanche MacDonald and was certified in 1981, one of the first graduating classes in esthetics for the beauty college.

"In the early '80s I opened my shop in the backroom of a slimming and beauty centre," says Louise. "I eventually bought the machines from the beauty centre as I grew my business and opened Pamper Me Day Spa in 1984."

    I highly recommend Pamper Day Spa.Great spa with very professional staff. Beautiful relaxing décor. Squeaky clean. Louise the owner really raises the bar when it comes to all your needs. If you want to really look after your skin and body I recommend you see Louise. Best skin care products, cutting edge technology and I put my complete trust in Louise to know exactly what I need. She always blows me away with her knowledge and her friendly genuine caring warmth and authenticity. No.1 with me!
