Unfortunely I don...

Unfortunely I don't get to the salon as much as I like, which would be every day. But, when I do get to the salon my stylist Tarra and the rest of the gang at Making Waves Hair Design are just great. I always walk out after my appointment feeling like a million bucks.

As always, great job!

I've been seeing Tracy for so long that she feels like a friend and not just my hair dresser. In fact, all the girls are lovely and friendly. As usual, I have a great highlights and a great cut... thanks so much! This salon goes out of their way to be accommodating and professional - never have any problems or complaints. If I could give you more 'stars' than just the 5, I would! Thanks, Tracy!

I was extremely impressed with the service at Making Waves. Tarra was the stylist I saw. I will continue to go and see her because she is an amazing hair stylist. I definitely recommend her. The other stylists were super friendly as well.

Best Salon Ever!

I rarely ever recommend people or places because I'm afraid of other people not having a positive experience like mine, however I trust this place to satisfy your needs and beyond. I was new to Winnipeg in the fall and I was in desperate need of a trim and thinning my long thick hair, so I went on Yellowpages and went off other comments about Making Waves. The first thing I noticed about their customer service, was when after explaining that I was new, they asked what kind of hair I had and what exactly I was looking for. That was a first. They placed me with Tarra and said she would definitely be able to take care of me. First impression: everyone was extremely welcoming and the give the best shampoo ever. I explained to Tarra about how heavy and thick my hair was and that I needed it thinned and then a healthy trim without taking too much off ( I wanted to try and keep my length). She managed to thin my hair without making me look like a mushroom like other stylists have done and gave me a great trim with my layers. Needless to say- It was the best haircut of my life and entertained me to no end! Recently I went in for a second trim and decided to color & highlight my hair. Tarra knew exactly what I wanted after I showed her a couple of pictures of the specific highlights I liked and voila! I love my color and highlights so much. This place is a gem and the people that work there are ridiculously funny and work so well together. Obviously by the length of my recommendation I love this place and dread ever having to move away :)

Very Pleased!

I recently moved into the area, and unfortunately across the city from my hairdresser of many years. After passing a number of times, I decided to stop in, and ended up staying for one of the best haircuts of my life! Great salon, great staff, and great prices!
