Crave Systems

As a Milton-based business since 2001, Crave Systems has kept pace with Milton’s meteoric growth over the last decade.  Chris Derksen, owner of Crave Systems, recalls that custom gaming was the company’s focus back in the day, but client service has garnered top spot. “We are very busy with service. It’s our main focus now,” says Chris.

Crave Systems also does a lot of IT support for small and medium-size businesses as well as many residential clients since viruses, adware and malware are ubiquitous in the computer world. “On a busy day, we might deal with 10 or more removal requests," he explains. Long-time employees John Pacheco and Jason Van Der Veen offer expert backroom technical support. “And we still sell a decent amount of computers,” says Chris.

“When we started out, there wasn’t a Staples or a Best Buy, but even with major changes in the marketplace, we’ve continued to win our share of Milton Champion Consumer Choice Awards — Platinum in 2013 and 2012 and Diamond in 2011 and 2010,” says Chris.
