By far the worst experience ever for dining in or for take out anywhere on the planet. Apparently according to the waitress the cook was in a bad mood. I hope he gets some professional help so future patrons don't suffer. I think this place has a dark cloud looming over top of it filled with doom and gloom. If only I could get the time back that I wasted here.

Hi, before heading home, from “Oh Canada Eh”,my husband & I stopped in for a beer. First, I must say”Wow”👏👏 bravo, to you on your expansion renovations, it looks amazing!! Congrats,again!
But now, for the bad.😞 your place was not busy& we sat up at the bar, waiting, waiting, watching, your bartender”Jackson”, standing at the register on her phone texting, for a good 5 mins, then she finally turns around& continues doin whatever& ignores “US”Believe me she Seen us .
The worst fish and chips I have ever had in my life. As soon as my husband handed it to me in the car, all I could smell was dirty grease. The fish was all soggy batter and my five soggy black fries were sitting in two inches of grease. Not to mention the tasteless coleslaw that was in a plastic container that was melted because they put the hot fish right on top of it. I may try their pizza and wings but I will NEVER eat their fish again not even if it was free.
Fish and chips not good, all hard batter, maybe 12 soggy fries.. batter batter batter where's the Fish.

Visiting the Falls and the bar was a 5 minute walk from the motel. The girl serving us, Kristen, was friendly and fast...had our drinks in no time even though it was busy and she was the only server. Food came fast, hot and exactly how I like my wings and I'm fussy! Spoke with Tuna (Charlie maybe?) behind the bar and told him that if I lived here, this is where I would hang out...he bought my wife and I a drink, which we thought was excellent. Went back the next night and ate something completely different and it to was excellent. Four dinners in 2 nights with about 8 pints total including somewhat generous tips brought the 2 day total to $92 CDN...the place is inexpensive and the food is very good.
We visit this bar on a regular basis, love the food and you cannot beat the prices. Great pizza and wings. The wait staff are very good and very friendly. Just wish it was a bit bigger when they have bands in to play on the weekends.
Best Service I've ever had, the people are so friendly, and my waitress, nicole was so nice.
The food was spectacular, i would deffinatly return soon .
My first visit here on the 7th June ....Excellent service, food and wonderful staff.....Charlie (Chuck) lovely chap... very selection of drinks etc. Live music gr8 it was a Saturday evening had a chat with a few of the regulars at the bar all seemed happy. Marni was the hightlight of the evening a wonderful lass and so is her friend made me feel most welcomed. I wish I could remember her facebook address :( only low point of the evening.
I would recommend this place to all visitors to the Falls for sure.

The steak sub was excellent!!..fresh, loaded with steak, that was delicious and by that I mean it wasn't dried out from over cooking, or difficult to chew, like MOST bars, who buy the cheapest grade of beef, and you can't even chew 'others' because it's full of grizzle, also fresh sliced mushrooms, onions, green peppers and covered with melted cheese, the bun was FRESH, in fact we ordered one each, and it was SO big both of us had to take the second half home, definetely TOO large for us to order one each, so from now on we will order one and split it>>THAT was our "ONLY" complaint, if it would count as a complaint, that it was too big. I find their prices absolutely fair, for the portions they serve, and we HAVE returned several times since THAT first time, and no matter what we order it is "ALWAYS" freshly cooked. One of our biggest problems is in "WHAT" to order, because we have tasted most of what they have on their menu, and it is TRULY a difficult decision to order one thing, and everything is tempting..We recommend Chip N Charlies above ALL other Bar and Eateries...and we LOVE the atmosphere in C n C's., because the staff are "ALWAYS" happy, and IF you DID go in there in a bad mood it won't last for long, the staff and the other customers are like a huge family, and you can't help but come out of there with a smile on your face.

If it wasn't for the fruit flies the place might have rated a ten. Service was very good and the food was also highly rated by both myself and my sixteen year old daughter but we seemed to have a colony of fruit flies that kept trying to land in my beer. There were at least half a dozen when we first noticed them but a couple had drowned by the time we left an hour and a half later.
I've been there before and I'll go back again but the next time I won't sit by the neon sign in the front window.
I love the atmosphere in small bar/eateries like this. I remarked to my daughter that there were at least thirty people in there and not one looked to be under seventy and she thought it was hilarious when one old codger stopped by our table to tell me that I reminded him of his father.
The fruit flies, the codger and the food made this place special.

The wings at this place are better than I have had anywhere north of the border. The waitresses are fun and pleasant to deal with. After we ate a house band (educated guess) began playing classic rock music. We stayed and had a great time until 1am. The regular patrons were very nice. This restaurant is a lot of fun.

Was visiting there from pittsburgh. Bar owner was very nice to us and talked to us for a bit then started introducing us to others. Made us feel very welcome there. I would definetly go there again if I make my way up to the area again.
