Brought my computer into PCNIx on Dec 03 2016 and was given an estimate of approx. 7 days to repair it. It's now Feb 3 and I am still waiting on a straight answer about when it will be ready 2 months later! Still waiting for Amir to call me back...Amir?
These guys know there stuff. I met with Don at PCNIX and gave my HP G6 for issues with producing no display. I got a call from his boss the next day and I was told that my computer only had a loose VGA connector and it was ready for pickup. Very reasonable prices and I got my computer back nice and shiny - they said cleaning a laptop was part of their service. Best of all, no one tried to sell me anything! I like that. Thanks for getting my machine working so fast. I hope I don't need repair service but if I do, I now know where to go.
When it comes to Toshiba laptops Amir and Don know their stuff. Within minutes he figured out what my problem was and provided a quote. I was told computer will be ready in 48 hours and under 24 hours I get a call telling me that my computer is ready. That's blazing fast speed! Best of all, work was done properly and was not rushed. I was not sold any goodies and I can appreciate that because it's rare for any service provider to not up sell. Little extras they threw in was also very much appreciated. My Satellite Pro P300 is running much smoother than before and it doesn't overheat or shut down. I can truly suggest PCNIX service to my friends and even my twitter followers, which is where I found this business originally.
I sent my Sony Vaio laptop in for repair to these guys and then i got deployed out of country with no way of getting in touch with them. I came back 6 months later and finally found their phone number and called them to ask where my computer was. Surprisingly, they kept it because it was brand new at the time. They delivered with all originally intended repairs complete and computer works great. I was told they have 30 days policy but 6 months was quite over that period, yet I still got my laptop back. Repairs are also done correctly, I can recommend PCNIX to anyone.
I was having one unique day when I pulled my laptop out of backpack to find my screen all crackly and smashed a couple of weeks ago. This was a new laptop and I was expected to delivery a presentation on this computer in about 2 hours. Panicking, I pulled out my iphone and started making phone calls. Couple of companies didn't even pick up the phone and one other quoted somewhat reasonable price but needed minimum one day to replace this screen, not acceptable, even when I mentioned the urgent need. I was about to give up but pc nix was the last one i called. Tech here first said one day but when I asked him to rush he put me on hold for about 1 minute. Came back and said he will skip the waiting and replace my screen on the spot which according to him should take no more than 30 minutes. I was about 20 minutes bus ride away from this place so I started traveling in the right direction. Because I gave my model number my screen was ready on the spot when I got there. Without wasting any time the technician started working on my pc right away with his scary drill. About 20 minutes and my brand new screen was in place and computer was turned on working like a charm. Tech was super helpful and his quick queue management (skipping) saved the day for me, also potentially my job! The place was a bit hard to find and I had to call back to figure out that it was on the second floor so heads up. Pc nix is not in my usual area of travel but I really appreciate the speedy job. I also saved a few bucks over the previous company. Two thumbs up!
I had to get my laptop lcd screen replaced after it got punched and cracked. I found these guys to have my screen in-stock and was quoted a little less than other places. Also I was offered rush service at no extra cost - a 15 minutes replacement. I booked an appointment and when I got there my LCD was ready waiting to be installed. 15 minutes later I was all done, then the tech offered to clean out my heating ventilation system for $10. That only took a few seconds and a cloud of dust came out of my laptop. So not only my screen is brand spanking new my laptop is also running smoother. Great service overall. Tech was not greedy and didn't try to sell me anything. Will highly recommend to others.
These guys deserve a review because I received a follow-up call 2 weeks after the service date. That's excellent customer service in my opinion. Service was great too! Small office but they had my component in-stock.
