I broken my right elbow in seven places, requiring surgery: three steel plates and lots of screws. The hospital's physiotherapist improved my restricted mobility to 120 degrees of flexion (135 is normal) and 20 degrees of extension (0 is normal), and then gave up gave up on me, telling me that no further improvement was possible. I went to "Care of Me", and Simon increased my range of motion to 130 degrees (almost normal) and 5 degrees (ditto) through massage, exercise and acupuncture. Thanks!
