I am glad to hear that the food is good!
However, there is one problem with this restaurant, and that is pollution. We, the people who live north of the restaurant, and who are in the immediate vicinity of it, cannot, unfortunately, enjoy our back yards, cannot put the laundry on the washing line, because of a very rancid, sharp smell that comes out of the chimney of this restaurant. I went to speak with the owner, and was met with hostility by both, his patrons and the owners themselves.
We have complained to the city, but it seems that they don't care? So, I appeal to you, the patrons of this restaurant, and I am asking you to speak with the owners and ask them to be more considerate of the neighbours, as we, too, would like to enjoy our food, while sitting in our backyards.

love their soups, especially eggplant with green curry conconut milk chicken basil soup with rice because it is so spicy and healthy and filling, and mary the owner is so sweet she really looks after you
Very delicious food. I have tried most of their dishes and have never been unsatisfied with what I ordered. And those springs rolls they serve is the best that I have ever had. Keep up the good work Khmer Thai.
We came all the way from Hamilton (2 hour driving time) and were very disappointed. Service was poor and we didn't get the Cashew Chicken we ordered. Instead our waiter said he ordered Golden Beef by mistake and we should take it as its very popular... no other choice. Neither of us like beef so we basically left 90% of it. We love Thai food and always order Cashew Chicken wherever we go. We were extremely disappointed in Khmer Thai. The place is not fancy and very cold, so cold we kept our winter coats on throughout dinner. On the way out the waiter said next time he will give us chicken. Unfortunately, there will not be a next time! So sad to have such an unfortunate dinner!
We used the high ratings (was 5* on average) to choose this restaurant... they are not an accurate description of Khmer, 2-star at best.

TRUE!!! This is the best place West of Kingston and let me tell you!! I was soooo happy when I found this spot!! There is a taste and flavour about this style of food, that is truly addictive!!
David and his family get to know you as Family if you come back as a repeat client. Don't expect fancy ambience, but expect to have your taste buds explode and leave with a very full belly!!!
