When Jane Davis-Munro and her mother Lynda Johnson started teaching preschoolers dance and art back in 1986, they had little idea that their school would become one of Toronto’s largest dancing institutions. After all, Pegasus Studios started in their basement, but it now inhabits a much larger space, one that offers students a wide variety of opportunities to explore their artistic sides.

Pegasus Studios alumni have gone in many different directions. Many have become professional dancers, from dancing at the prestigious Stuttgart Ballet in Germany, to smaller local companies. Jane is equally excited by the other careers of her former students. “We have students who are now occupational therapists and work in community outreach around the world, which puts their dancing experience to excellent use,” Jane says. “Others are working in the dancing industry as independent choreographers, artists and musicians.”

    Love Your Video!

    I love the video of your dance studio. It really allows me to se what your school is like and I can't help but get a tear of joy in my eye when I watch it. I share this video with friends and family because I just love it!!!!
