Jason Squires knows what dogs want, and if their owners can’t make it into his Dundas West speciality pet food and supplies shop, he’ll personally deliver the drool-worthy treats to their door.

Located just across the street from Trinity Bellwood’s off-leash dog park, also known as “the dog bowl” (what the store is named after), this one-stop shop is a dog foodie’s heaven. But before you attempt to make your purchase, one look from Jamie, the docile old-English sheepdog, will steal your attention and you may have forgotten why you came into the store in the first place.

Stepping up to the counter is like ordering from a speciality deli or bakery, but for dogs. The counter is stocked with biscuits, jerkies and chews, including one called Grammy’s pot pie. And the space is organized by sections: toys, collars and leashes, grooming supplies, treats, dry and wet food – there’s even a food section for your feline companions.
