Professional, accessible and excellent service

I have been a client of Phanadent for many years and have only the best comments and recommendations for anyone looking for a dentist in the area. They are very professional, courteous and accomodating. They always discuss the treatment before doing any service. All my kids had to remove their wisdom teeth and we were referred to a specialist when the case was difficult. They were honest and never tried to do anything to jeopardize my health or that of my whole family. The staff is very friendly. They are located right in front of the metro on cote des neiges and Lacombe and very easy to get to.

not honest, unfriendly, and a bad clinic to avoid

I wanted to extract a wisdom teeth and I called the clinic. they promised me to give a free examination during I made an appointment through the phone. When I came to the clinic, they wanted to charge me $30 for the examination, I told them when I called I got an offer for a free examination. And the answer is they don't know who i talked with, so it doesnt count. Finally, I barged for a free one otherwise I would like to leave. they asked me to take a X-ray picture that I've already took one with them before that is a few months ago. They couldn't find my file, and offers me a discount price if I could pay by cash. So I paid by cash to take the picture. then after took the picture and exam, the doctor told me if I extract 3 teethes, then I can get a discount. But I only need to extract one at the time, so they wanted to charge me $50 more because I couldn't take 3 at the same time as they want, and it is out of the price range as they told me before between $150 to 300. I didnt do it and decide to find a better clinic. and I called back to ask a copy of the x-ray photo or just borrow it. firstly, they they told me it's in the computer system and no copy. And I asked if they can send it to my email. Then, they told me no because I didn't pay for it. i said I paid. They told me the money I paid is for examination, but not for taking the photo. I said I paid for taking the picture because you offered me a free examination. They refused me cuz i paid by cash without receipt! The female asian dentist has a very bad attitude, I am an asian myself. And she questioned me once "how long did you come to canada? you should know the rules here." and the clinic is not honest for their client. I feel the clinic trys to push the client to do everything they want at one day. If I cannot do everything they want, they rise the price right away to do a single surgery. The worst dental experience I've ever had. AVOID the PHANADENT dental center!
