The Vancouver Aquarium's location can't be beat and neither can the experience they offer. We have been members for the last 4 years and despite dozens of trips we always see something new on every single trip. With a variety of themed areas and literally thousands of sea creatures to see, the Vancouver Aquarium is a great way to while away an afternoon. Make sure you check out the Dolphin show and the shark tank is a great place to watch the sharks and wonder why they don't eat the fish in the tank with them. I also highly recommend the membership option since two visits pays for the membership and then every other visit in that year is basically free. We've been known to go to the aquarium for an hour just because we needed to kill a bit of time...and what a great way to do so! Also of special note are the birthday parties they offer for kids. A great deal, especially for members, and the best part is getting to go behind the scenes with your knowledgeable tour guide. I recently celebrated my birthday at a restaurant, and I must say the server was outstanding - knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. The rest of the staff were equally friendly. The food was excellent; we opted for the Dine-Out menu, and the recommended drinks paired perfectly. I'll definitely be returning for another visit. Anatoli is our all-time favorite greek food restaurant. We have never been disappointed in the quality of the food whether it is dine-in or a Skip-the-Dishes delivery to our home. The only drawback is the lack of parking in the area, but there is usually a street parking spot within a block, and its well worth the walk. Maria's is a Kitsilano institution. The atmosphere is everything you would expect a Greek restaurant to offer complete with pictures of Greek scenery adorning the walls. The food is really good and even my wife who is not the biggest fan of Greek food loves the food at Maria's. I usually have what I had on our most recent visit...one of the souvlaki dinners. Our most recent trip I had chicken souvlaki and the chicken was perfectly tender and the potatoes and rice were great too. Next time you have a hankering for Greek food visit Maria's Taverna on 4th!
