The Vancouver Aquarium's location can't be beat and neither can the experience they offer. We have been members for the last 4 years and despite dozens of trips we always see something new on every single trip. With a variety of themed areas and literally thousands of sea creatures to see, the Vancouver Aquarium is a great way to while away an afternoon. Make sure you check out the Dolphin show and the shark tank is a great place to watch the sharks and wonder why they don't eat the fish in the tank with them. I also highly recommend the membership option since two visits pays for the membership and then every other visit in that year is basically free. We've been known to go to the aquarium for an hour just because we needed to kill a bit of time...and what a great way to do so! Also of special note are the birthday parties they offer for kids. A great deal, especially for members, and the best part is getting to go behind the scenes with your knowledgeable tour guide. This hotel has a wonderful location and due to the shape many of the rooms have commanding views of Coal Harbour, the North Shore Mountains and the Vancouver skyline along the water. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed and they are so quiet too. We have stayed here on more than one occasion even though we live in the city! The rates can be a little steep at times but keep your eyes peeled for specials on the Internet. Either way, you'll be glad you stayed at the Pan Pacific! Lire plus

You get the feeling that this restaurant might be good judging by the line-up of people waiting for a table. We went on warm weekend evening so did have to wait to get a spot on the patio, but it was worth it. The service was excellent despite the restaurant being so busy. The food was amazing and the value was unexpected - Order a one-piece dinner and you get 2 pieces of fish, order 2 pieces and you get 3, etc. Don't let the line-up deter you, this place is great. If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Hate the wait but love the food. If you come at 10pm on a Saturday still a 10 minutes wait. I have been here a couple of times before and always excellent. The meatballs in tomato sauce just amazing. We had the zucchini and rabbit pasta dishes and both so good. Cooked just al dente, good amount of flavour and just enough coating of sauce. Very good selection of by glass or bottle wines.
