Amazing experience. I was referred to Dr. Harry by a friend of mine as I wasn't happy with my previous veterinary clinic that I had been going to for 7 years, so I booked an appointment and took my 7 year old Morkie to get her annual check up. The front Staff are very friendly, professional and attentive to my needs. Clinic looks very clean and beautiful.

Being picky because I love my catrs like my kids, I switched to this vet when one of my fur babies was dying a few years ago. They made it easier on me, longer with a decent life for my baby and left me not feeling like a failure. That takes talent, and that is what matters most in a vet. They are my rabbit's veterinary clinic, and they are very knowledgeable and compassionate about her care. They are open and honest about their billing and what they do, and their prices are reasonable. I found the vet to be very honest about my rabbit's health and about test results and treatments to be done. I would recommend this veterinary clinic to others, especially those with household pets other than dogs and cats, as it can be hard to find clinics knowledgeable about these pets.

I have just rescued a Cat. Did a health check with Dr. Childs. My Cat's teeth were in bad shape and there were stones in her bladder. Scheduled for surgery and everything went fine.

I cannot say enough good about Amherst. The staff is incredibly kind and highly professional. Our little dog, Casey, received the most gentle treatment and plenty of treats. When she became sick with mitral valve disease, Dr. Wark was always available and diligently cared for her. Casey did die, but, we are so thankful that her last months were filled with love. Amherst was a great support and continues to be as we nurse our 18 year old cat, Tiger, through her golden years. Dr. Yuen is making sure that Tiger enjoys every one of her nine lives. There have been several times where my heart was broken and I thought it was the end, but, through highly capable diagnosis, we still have our little girl. I can call anytime and come dashing in a minute before closing and I am always greeted by the kindest front end staff I could ever hope for. Amherst has been a part of our family for so many years and I could not be more grateful for the journey we have been privileged to share with this top-rate veterinary clinic.

I was looking for a vet in Vancouver that had experience with Sphynx cats, and found 1st Ave. was quite knowledgeable regarding Sphynx; Sphynx have a few different needs from other cats.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Very down to earth. The equipment is great (love the X Ray machine). It's clear they are all pet lovers.
Dr. Dhunna is a very nice vet who takes his time and LISTENS. He has excellent knowledge and skills.
I recommend them highly!

Dr. Bob has helped me with injuries to my lower back and shoulder in the middle of two different tennis tournaments. He takes his time to diagnose the problem and offers targeted treatments that really help the healing process. Dr. Bob also gave me great advice on rest and icing with the remaining matches of each tournament in mind. Very goal oriented. I would recommend Dr. Bob to anyone who wants to get back to his or her sport safely and asap after injury.

I've had a relationship with this facility for well over 20 years from my dad renting space here to myself living on a float home here for over 6 years.the office staff and yard staff are always friendly, nice, and easy to deal with. I have had a severe headache for last 5 years and had to rely on painkiller even just to sleep. I have been to my doctor, neurologist, and even emergency room due to super bad headache. They took xray, mri whatever.. and told me nothings wrong. Dr Isaac seemed to know what my condition was right after he heard me my stories about the condition and he saved my life for this condition. I wish known him earlier so didn't have to run around all the hassles.

People who know me know that I am not big on "conventional" medicine (prefer homeopathics, no vaccinations, raw feeding), so if I can recommend Yaletown Pet Hospital - they must be amazing to impress me. I do not "trust" easily, but after our appointment with Dr. Vandermeer, I felt confident in her abilities and her genuine love and compassion for animals. The vet tech who assisted, Amber Lloyd, is simply the kindest, sweetest person you will ever meet and she watched over Minnie like a hawk! I booked the appointment for dental surgery for the next day. When I picked up Minnie, they took time to review how everything went and exactly what was done and scheduled a followup appointment. Minnie's recovery was very fast and by that evening, she was eating and back to her crazy, loveable self. I was very, very pleased to say the least. So, if you are looking for a really great vet clinic, I highly recommend Yaletown Pet Hospital. When you book your appointment, tell them Minnie sent you!
