WORST CAR EXPERIENCE EVER. READ BEFORE YOU BUY

We saw a 2010 Honda accord online and negotiated a price which we both agreed on. We gave them a down payment and made plans to pick up the care in a few days as we would be coming from out of town. We received a call from the manager (Tim)later telling me there was a little hick up as they also sold the car to someone else. He said not to worry if we had our money in first it would be ours. He told me he would call me back and let me know what happened. the next morning we received and email from the salesman telling me the car was sold to the other party. I called him back and he told me that in fact we had our money in first but because Tim was not in the other on duty manager sold the car to the other people, and in fact when Tim had called me the previous day the car was already gone. I spoke to the General Manager who was quite obnoxious and basically said to bad. He acknowledged that in fact we had our down payment in before but the salesman didn't tell the on duty manager, so to bad for us. We have bought several cars over the years and never had anything like this happen. They didn't even try and make it right on a different car. i guess a deal in not a deal and their word means nothing.
