At Devil’s Den Golf Centre in Brooklin, amateurs, professionals and emergency service responders all practice golf alongside each other. This unique mix of clientele is what makes Devil’s Den “one of the safest places to come and practice,” according to owner Jason Knill.

Formerly a farm, this space has now been transformed into a driving range and beach volleyball centre, and Jason couldn’t be happier with his business, even if he doesn’t get to play as much golf as he did before helming Devil’s Den. “Sometimes I’ll have some really good rounds,” he says, “but I don’t get to play as often as I used to.”

    We have been playing beach volleyball here for three years and they keep dissapointing us more year by year. It is the most expensive by far, sand is rocky (despite promising to have it raked), the balls are flat (newest disappointment) and they have no spares, and they have been guaranteeing their court bar service will be up and running in two weeks since 2018!!! Despite having no court bar service the staff cant manage to keep time and we ALWAYS are 15-45 min late and pissing off our sitter.
