i have been to many restaurants in the GTA and so far this is the best...i strongly recomend the filet mignon. it was excellent.

The experience at this fine restaurant is...

The experience at this fine restaurant is something you really should share with your loved ones. This past evening of dining was my third trip back to The Octagon Restaurant. Although, this will surely not be the last, God willing. The food taste devine and the service of the professional staff was, as previous visits, outstanding! The caesar salad, in my opinion, is the highlight of the meal. The staff will mix the dressing for your salad right there in front of you. Don't bother asking whats in the secret sauce, they just smile and continue mixing. I'm not sure if thats a good thing but it sure does taste amazing. Do yourself and loved ones a favour and dine at this upstanding and well managed establishment. BTW...those little green peppers are a tad SPICY!

I've been to all the major steak houses in the city and I find the Octagon the best overall experience from appetizers to dessert. You must have the Shrimp Cocktail and Garlic Bread

The caesar salad, prepared at our table was a...

The caesar salad, prepared at our table was a problem. We were asked if we wanted bacon in it and were very precise in stating no. The salad came with bacon. It had to be redone and the waiter took half the time in preparing the second one compared to the first. It was mediocre. The sole almondine, which if properly presented would have no bones, had several bones left in it. Overall, not the quality expected at the Octagon.
