We came here on a weeknight, for a friends birthday it was quite busy despite what we had heard. The atmosphere was very good, sort of bustling. The service was quite good as well even though they seemed very busy. The food was the winner of the day though with such a selection of appetizers it was hard to decide between snacking on selections like dungeness crab rice paper rolls, seared digby scallops and wild mushroom and goat cheese pate or going for the Entrees.. Pajo's has an excellent location in Rocky Point Park! We've walked over a few times this summer, to enjoy traditional fish & chips at the picnic tables in the park! The fish is great and the chips are thick and hot! It's a traditional, good old-fashioned fish & chips place! The bonus being you get to enjoy your food while looking out at the ocean. It's always busy, so sometimes the wait can be a bit much, but it's worth it! They've added healthy options to the menu too, like a salad with salmon on it I believe (which I didn't try personally, but my friend had it and said it wasn't bad at all!), so if you don't want the grease, try that...or live a little and enjoy! My husband and I popped in to this restaurant for lunch one day last week. Everything about the establishment was perfect. The service, the setting, but most importantly the food! I have never had a better burger in my life. The shrimp cocktail in a jar.... to die for! The price in my opinion was great for what we got.Keep up the great work guys! I have been here twice now. Once we were a table of two and the most recent time with a large group. Having a standing menu angled so you can read it to choose your meal is kind of neat. Allows them to update their menu easily. We had the assiette campanarde, rabbit, special beef cheeks and creme brûlée to finish it off.
