I represent a charity in Ottawa called CityKidz Ottawa, which works with children in the 6 to 12 year old age range. We require that the children are bused every week and have been using Wubs since we opened our doors in 2010. We have always appreciated their safe and reliable service for our children and their desire to get involved in the community and make a difference. Their rates are more than fair and their drivers and customer service are always respectful and responsive.

Although the hotel was undergoing renovations and looked like a run-down apartment building (also was in a sort of ""ghetto"" neighbourhood), the hotel was actually quite decent and nice inside. It looked like a hotel at least. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly. I liked the fact that they didn’t charge for parking (which if we would have stayed on the other side of the bridge in downtown Ottawa, they would have). There was just a lot of construction going on and at times was very noisy (if you opened the room window/balcony). The staff were very accommodating. Room was always cleaned well and washroom was fine (only complaint is the hot water in the shower was a bit weird -- kept changing from hot to cold on some of the days). Overall it was quite a decent hotel for the price. I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I can’t get anything cheaper/similar quality downtown.

Loved my stay here! Staff was more than friendly and attending to guests. As well, the rooms were awesome especially with the kitchen. It made my stay easier as I usually travel with a plug in cooler. Definitely staying here again!

Brought in my Dewalt drill as a auger was stuck in the chuck. I was looking at replacing it but more importantly i needed it for work I was doing at our church. Less than 10 mins later they handed me the drill and the auger- BOTH IN GREAT SHAPE AND NO CHARGE! The repair guy I didn't get his name but I so appreciate your kindness! I'll be back to buy new if this one dies.

I worked out with the time it would have taken me lugging the
rubbish, arranging a vehicle that could take that volume of rubbish,
then tip fees and the transport time and petrol it would have ended up
costing me more to do it myself!!

Although I have stayed overnight at the WelcomInn a few times, mostly I come into town only for the day -- they offer very convenient and cost-effective day rates. Parking is ample and free.
The location is great for me, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable, with everything I need, including free wifi. There's a huge selection of restaurants within walking distance, but I usually prefer to bring food from home, so the small fridge and bar sink are great to have. Check in and out is easy, and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
My only complaint? It would be nice if the rooms had microwaves.
Overall, a great value and a clean, friendly, convenient hotel experience for the business traveler.

I purchased a Rubinet faucet from Preston Hardware near twelve years ago. The faucet worked well until very recently when the spigot seized. I contacted Rubinet and they sent a replacement cartridge within days. Hesitant to replace the cartridge myself, I contacted Preston Hardware for help in doing so. I took the faucet into Preston Hardware this morning and it was ready for pick-up within 90 minutes. Thank you, Nuno for providing excellence in service.
