The guys working here are very honest. It's a refreshing change from what I'm used to - previously needing to do my research so I don't get taken advantage of at other repair shops. I have had such positive experiences with my vehicles - & was reasonably charged - that I've recommended their shop to neighbours and friends. Not surprisingly, many go there with their vehicles as well, & had the same things to say about them. I value honesty in a repair shop & am worry-free when I drop off vehicles

We had our walnut trees + birch pruned by D&D. I cannot emphasize enough about their quality of work. Devin who owns the company is an accomplished Arborist and worked diligently for 4 hours straight. My mom (who is so kind-hearted, but unfortunately a bit naive) recently answered the door to a door-to-door furnace salesperson. Somehow, she was convinced that she needed to sign a rental agreement for a new furnace (with monthly payments forever, which would have had her easily pay 3 times the value of the furnace!) and by the time she contacted me she had signed it. I immediately called JD Swallow, with whom she has had excellent service for the past 20+ years. They were quick to respond with an appointment, where the Consultant / Technician made a thorough examination of her furnace and provided her with clear options of her choices and needs. He even took the time to accept my call from long-distance to explain it all to me, and to help us cancel the initial contract my mother had signed with the other company. And all of this was free because we are a valued client. Now that we have received quality service for all these years (and my mother understands the danger of answering the door to pushy salespeople), who do you think we she will buy her furnace from when she truly does need her current one replaced? Courteous, kind, sympathetic, knowledgeable, and experienced. JD Swallow, you have our gratitude (and our business!)

I visited Little's on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 to have my brake pads replaced and a belt squeak checked out. The management and the mechanics were professional and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and they were able to fix up the car very quickly and on short notice. The final amount was below what was quoted to me and the car is running great. Worth the drive out from Ottawa - I'll be back for sure. Definitely recommend!

Just bought a used Audi A6 and 3 months after I purchased the car, my Check Engine light came on and my air conditioning wasn't working properly. I took it my own personal mechanic, they thought they fixed it but it came back on 3 days later. Frustrated, I took it to an Audi dealership while in Toronto on vacation and they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to diagnose the problem and eventually fix the problem. I wasn't too keen but I agreed, bought a beautiful car, check engine light shouldn't be on bottom line. Two weeks later back in Ottawa my check engine light came back on !!!! Now I was very frustrated. In limbo my car needed an oil change so I took it to Midas on Baseline rd. The mechanic named Alex indicated to me once again the light was on. I said go a head and see if you can fix the problem thinking if Audi can't fix it who can. The Manager said if they can't find the problem they won't charge me for the diagnosis. It was zero risk for me and a win/win for both of us. Alex was able to find the problem and fixed it with my authorization. The light has never come back on again. Turns out the mechanic Alex is an Electrical Engineer who specializes in cars. AND my final bill to fix it was a fraction of what Audi charged me. Alex in my opinion is an electrical genius !! If anyone has eletrical problems take your car to Midas on Baseline Rd in Ottawa and ask for Alex. It will save you alot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ and frustation.

After looking at the car, Chris gave me a couple of options for a fix, and then proceeded with a same-day resolution as we agreed.

If you’ve ever heard the statement quality shows itself; it originated with these folks in our opinion. Courteous, responsive and patiently answered all of your questions. Our roof turned out to be quite the undertaking, requiring them to remove multiple roofing systems that had been overlaid on top of each other. They meticulously fixed a few issues with the roof decking and installed durable shingles + a metal drip edge. They kept the job site immaculate. Highly recommend!
