Galen responded to my request for a quote at Ty Watson House in a timely manner and I found his quote reasonable, his pruning work professional and thoughtful and I would not hesitate to call him again for any tree work and so grateful to get that stump removed without any disturbance to the surrounding garden. I've had only 4 cold laser sessions on my knee and am so pleased. I suffer with meniscus pain and am waiting for surgery which just got rescheduled again. I noticed a difference the first time and can walk up the stairs now without pain. This service is great, happy not to go out in bad weather to have my appointment. I totally agree with the other review. I am new to Nanaimo and had a huge landscaping job where many truck loads of blast rock had to be removed from around the house and a retaining wall built. The project was difficult. Darren and his crew not only did everything to my specifications, they did it very professionally within a few days. I appreciate Darren's oversight to ensure that we were happy and that the work was done right. His work is excellent value!

Love coming here when visiting my family. We usually all eat from the buffet. There is not a huge selection; however, the food in the buffet is always replenished quickly so it is always hot and fresh. Their garlic prawns are definitely a favourite. Service is always wonderful!

We have been seeing Dr Booker as our dentist since we moved to Nanaimo 3 years ago. She was recommended to us by a friend and we have not been disappointed! She is such a great dentist and really does a great job taking care of all of our dental needs. She is so gentle and caring. Her office is at a great location, on the corner of Northfield and Bowen Road and there is always lots of parking. The staff is really great too.

I recently used Buy Sell & Trade to get rid of a bunch of stuff around my house. I registered on their site and had some trouble so sent an email to their web master. He phoned me in the evening (ok, I was shocked!) and walked me through getting registered. I posted my stuff and within 20 minutes had received my first call. Best of all, all the ads online are also printed in their paper. To me that kinda covers all the off line people. I'm pleased with how easy the process is to use their site and that all the ads are checked for scams.

My spouse and I absolutely love this restaurant as it is one of our favourites in the Valley. They use local ingredients, from fresh seafood to local bison or emu, and everything is made fresh. We've never had a bad meal. We tend to order a handful of appetizer's/starters and share them...maybe order an actual entree each too (but will leave stuffed if we do!) We love the seafood - fish chowder, crab stack (like a sushi roll, similar ingredients, but stacked), manilla clams in fennel cream broth to name a few appetizer's/starters. The fish/meat entrees have been good everytime. (However, we prefer the appetizers and fresh fish entrees seem to be the best entrees). I'd say the dress code is more dressy-casual (but would not be out of place to dress up). They are open for lunch & dinner - we've done both but be aware menus are slightly different. We usually leave the kids at home as we want to enjoy the food when we go and we expect to be there at least an hour for the full dinner meal... very good overall. I took my mother for lunch and she loved it! Totally recommend to family & friends & visitors.
