Been a few years since we were at Raxx and were pleasantly surprised this week. Nice renovations make the place look brighter than before and lots of options for seating, pool tables, bar area, TVs, etc.
Food was surprisingly good, particularly the chicken wings that were well cooked, perfectly sauced and quite meaty. This was not a Wednesday night so not sure if the wing quality is better/worse/same on the night that wings are discounted.
It was a pleasure to have the option of blue cheese dip with real chunks of cheese in it. Wish more places served this with their wings and/or pizza! :)
The salad was a huge serving and very fresh ingredients. The grilled chicken was finely shredded and nicely flavoured. I eat a lot of chicken and salad and this was a surprisingly good one. Red wine vinaigrette was a nice option too.
Service was a bit slow for refilling drinks and for bringing out the food considering the place was practically empty but the order came exactly as requested including a couple of customizations to the salad.
The menu is straightforward and not too complicated nor too many items. Could use a fewer lower-fat items but realistically I wouldn't expect to find much of that on a sports bar menu so not a big deal.
We were quite surprised at the food quality and would come back. Thank you!

We were looking for a place to watch the Euro 2012 final and we decided to visit this place. When we walked in, the place was empty, apparently the downstairs doesn't open until much later than the upstairs. So, we decided to head upstairs. It was empty, there were only three people behind the bar (all servers) and us. We chose the table which was facing the TV screens. We asked the one server if she could lower the music and turn up the volume on the TVs. She asked her manager and gladly did so, she was very kind about it. The upstairs is huge, there are tons of tables and a few pool tables as well. There are also a ton of TV screens throughout the whole area. We ordered a bunch of appetizers as we were going to be there for a while. We first ordered the chicken wings. We ordered the first batch with mild barbeque sauce, and the second batch with honey mustard sauce. The mild barbeque ones were okay, but the honey mustard ones were awesome! I highly recommend the honey mustard ones. The only thing I found about the wings were that they were expensive, only eight small wings for $10, pretty pricey if you ask me. Then we ordered the smokehouse poutine; pretty good poutine but again, very pricey, $11 and it was a small dish. The next item was the spinach dip, this dip is beyond amazing, you definitely need to try it! It comes with a large serving of pitas and the spinach dip was warmed to perfection, AMAZING! After that, we tried the brie calzone, which was a huge disappointment. It was just a huge pocket of air, with a small lining of brie cheese and a small salad on the side, very disappointing. I wouldn't order it again only because it cost $10 and it wasn't that good. The service was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I would visit again and try a few different items. It's worth a shot, it might satisfy your taste buds!

While waiting for our food, my husbands sugar crashed and he felt horrible, sweaty, shaky, dizzy.. the staff noticed something was wrong and immediately sprang into action. They offered orange juice and some ice for his neck.... by the time he felt better we didn’t want to eat... they packed up our food and the manager took care of the bill. They went over and above... now that’s customer service! Thank you Kelsey’s for turning a bad experience into a good one!

I loved the bathroom, it was HUGE and absolutely beautiful. I never would have guessed that it looked like this, judging by the outside. Never judge a book by it's cover

Went in for a value added oil change special and service / prices were so good that I dealt with some other issues that I had figured my Honda was having as well. In and out in great time and staff was very professional & courteous. They explained all options in terms I could understand with no pressure. I will be back!

Started going here when it was the only option for my rats. I continued because of how amazing they treated my pets. Now I bring my two dogs, one being a new puppy. They were able to tell me exactly what his issue eating was within minutes of hearing his problems. Since the first visit he’s doubled his weight. They even encouraged me to contact his breeder in order to be compensated for his X-ray. They not only do they care about your pets but they care about you as an owner. Great vets!

Gino's Kingston great place to eat and the staff is really great to deal with. I was in Brockville recently visiting family, we ordered from the Gino's there, i sincerely hope you are not affiliated with them. Complete opposite of Gino's in Kingston. The service was very slow, the food was un eatable and when my cousin called to complain the manager was pleasant but was really not interested in what we had to say. Ginos Kingston rocks Brockville Ginos sucks.

i hav e been going to the brass since i came to kingston for school five years ago. the brass isnt really known for its food for good reason, its a bar, but there breakfest hits the spot on a hang over sunday. have you ever noticed that the brass has the best looking staff in kingston? Nothing like being served beer by beautiful women!!!!! it doesnt really get any better then that!!!!!!

High praise from us for Canadian Awning & Canvas in Kingston Ont for the first rate service and awnings they provided. Needed replacements for 2 rectractible awnings we bought approx 12 - 13 years ago from Home Depot, Belleville. The frames are still efficient but H.D. were only interested in selling us new frames with awnings. Cdn Awning & Canvas understood what we needed, had a huge variety of fabrics to choose from and provided everything very quickly. 5 STARS! L & G, Picton.

First time there recently with my boyfriend. Had a $10 gift card that we received in the mail from them. You save $10 if you spend $30 and it was good on weekends. We walked in and the place was very busy. But we asked for a booth and got one right away. The waitress was very nice and took good care of us. The food arrived within minutes. The food was amazing! Manager checked in with us twice to make sure everything was good. Would definitely recommend to others.
