Booked an appointment with Chane during Covid times but the salon was very clean, well prepared and I felt totally safe. Chane did an amazing job on my cut and style and I highly recommend her to everyone. She is friendly, professional, and always gives me exactly what I ask her for. Made to order sandwiches on wonderful chewy bread. We tried the pork and the fish varieties accompanied by our side choices of pickled vegetables and green salad. All tasted fresh and tasty and unique blend. The brewed unsweetened iced tea was a nice finish. The restaurant has this wooden, rustic open feel. There is an entrance on both Powell and Alexander streets. Sufficient street pay parking at the edge of gastown.

This is my measuring-stick for good food in Vancouver. This is my awesomeness in a meal.
I've been here twice. Both times for my birthday. Both times the waiting staff were wonderful (even bringing out a birthday cake with my name on it), but even if they weren't, I'd come back here for the food.
This place is an indulgence - bare that in mind - you're not here to skimp with a salad, you're here to try amazing game done RIGHT.
I've had the venison, and I've had the wild boar. My mom has tried the game hen (so I had some) and I can't remember what else. It was so good that I honestly thought I should take it into a room and be alone with it, maybe buy it a drink and tell it how pretty it was before devouring it. Tender, succulent, rich, decadent - I don't think there are enough adjectives to describe how good the food is here, my tummy just growled because I'm writing this review instead of getting myself to DF's ASAP.
Honestly - the place is romantic - it's awesome for a candlelit anniversary dinner. The food is stupendous, and the service is excellent.
Now you see why they're my measuring stick, non?

We had a lovely table by the window so we had a nice view. Overall ambience is very bright and contemporary. To our benefit the restaurant was not that busy on a weeknight and we parked very close. The service was very good. We enjoyed their daily flatbread special and crab cakes to start. For our mains we went with halibut and osso bucco, both too were very good and cooked just right. And to finish went with a delicious choco molten cake just perfect to share.

EXP is a video game themed restaurant and bar. The atmosphere and theme are all based on games, as is the food and drink menu. The food and drinks are great, and fair for the price but not cheap. My favorite are the triforce burger and phasewalk cocktail, but nothing I've tried has been bad. The service is also excellent - last time I went we arrived shortly before closing and had a large group but they were able to seat us together and even insisted on giving me a free shot for my birthday when I was on the way out AFTER we had already paid. Overall I highly recommend it, I have not been disappointed yet.
