We dined at the Siamese Gecko last evening for our anniversary. The menu had plenty of options, you could choose from curries, stir frys, and soups. After each meal title, there is a ranking of how spicy the dish is starting at not spicy going up to very, very spicy. I chose item 25-2 (sorry, the name escapes me) because it was under the very, very spicy and it certainly was. Even with my tongue on fire, there was an amazing amount of flavour. It was served on a platter with chicken, green beans, sweet red pepper, Thai basil, kaffir lime and crushed hot peppers. My wife had a squash curry that was delightfully creamy and the squash melted in your mouth. It was a non spicy dish with some sweetness in it and again, plenty of flavour. The prices are excellent, most dishes range from 9.99 to 11.99 and we both brought home half of our dinners. Meals do not come with rice or noodles, they are extra. However it was only 1.99 for a bowl of rice that was more than adequate and the whole cost of the meal was very affordable. Service was adequate, the restaurant was clean including washrooms. We both highly recommend!

Wow! I was just looking up the new store hours since the Covid 19 and couldn believe the bad reviews. I stop in and pick up things 2-3 times a week at this store and have never had a problem. The staff have been nothing but helpfulness and friendly. They never seem to mind if I ask for help finding something. They stop what they are doing and give me their undivided attention. As I work nights the store hours suit my schedule and I see a lot of different staff. Never a problem with my bill

I just wanted to share my wonderful experience that my husband and daughter and I had at the European Bakery. We had a great lunch , the service was exceptional, the server was so nice to us. It was very busy ,but we had our lunch in no time. The soup was a home made and the ruebans amazing. I was so impressed that they offered a great Gluten-Free menu Breakfast and lunch as my Daughter has celiac disease it made our dining experience so much better.to top it off the atmosphere was really nice, everyone was very happy! we ended up taking dessert to go, as well as a gluten free dessert for my daughter!also buying a loaf of fresh bread. If you want a great meal I would highly recommend eating here!!

We had a reservation, and although they had a party going on in the private room the service was fine. They warned us they were really busy but I didn't find it slow. They had a great variety of stuff for the kids, but also for those of us who tend to stay away from carbs.
I had the liver with extra veggies instead of potato and it was really good....it was two large pieces and I took one home. The kids loved the fish and chips and pasta, and my husband had a pasta as well, which he really enjoyed.
This would be a great place to go after a day of skiing when you are REALLY hungry as the portions are very generous!

I dont know why Jeff received such a nasty review from that one customer but I have to tell you that when we brought our Tiguan to him with an engine light on and previous to that we had CTC (I know I know) take a look at it and replaced the fuel pump to the tune of $1500 only to have the problem persist and another shop replacing plugs and ignition coils for another $500 again only to have the issue persist, Jeff zeroed in on clogged intake valves. Fixed it right away and car runs like new.

What a great little restaurant!! The service was excellent we were served by the owner JD what a great guy very friendly, and the food he whipped up was excellent. Just a word of advice though make sure your very hungary before ordering the "Big ben" because its huge. Also the prices are more then reasonable.

In all the years we have eaten at Joe's, the food has been consistent and of good quality. We have not been there in a few months, but my standard order would be soup and half club sandwich, and my husband liked a fancy salad served in a taco bowl. The club sandwich(on toast, not on a bun thankyou!) was the best in town. When they switched to a bun I would ask for toast which they were fine with.

In a small town sea of dreary roadhouse food and greasy fast food burgers, Pulguksa is a beacon of hope (and deliciousness!).
Great, freshly made Korean and Japanese food, all served by the chef/owner. Fabulous home made kimchi, great bulgogi and bento boxes big enough to share.
I have never been disappointed in a meal here, and I try to visit at least once a month. Please, please don't ever close!

We have eaten at the Queens many times and i'm a bit disappointed there aren't more reviews. If you want amazing food for amazing value this is your place! The menu options and specials have such a large selection it is hard to decide..everything sounds awesome. If your planning on eating here make sure you go on an empty stomach!! I highly recommend this restaurant for food quality as we have tried almost everything on the menu

The fine thing about the Superpan is that it's perfectly adequate. The room is crisp but comfortable, the help are always willing to . . . help, and the food really schmecks. It's classic Southern Ontario small-town Chinese (with a few, well-produced, aspirational "dim sum" offerings). Every dish - like the combos - is so generously ladled on that there's always a need for a Styrofoam takeaway clamshell afterwards. If you're sick of paying too much money to restauranteurs who think they're God's gift, hit the 98. The food's good, voluminous and cheap. Best resto in Collingwood.

The fries are really good, the service was fine, but this place is a dump! I grew up in Port Elgin and this place has never changed(maybe that's a good thing). The doorway is very low(I really had to duck-down to get inside). I think the tables are the same ones used back in the 70's. "The good old Harbourlite" -many memories.

We purchased a package deal from Travelzoo for one night accomodation including dinner for two then breakfast for two. Meals and service in the dining room were wonderful although the beef tenderloin which we ordered for dinner was a bit dry and not all that appealing to the eye-just appeared like a thick hunk of meat on a plate. We were in room 303, bed linens definitely need improvement as do pillows which were so soft and mushy as to be non existent. Not Ontario's finest Inns quality.
