This is the place I visited when I cam to Vancouver for the first time. In that sense, when I noticed people having a great time there, it always puts a smile on my face. This time, although it was quite busy as usual but my friends and I were seated promptly. Friendly server whose service was simply a top-notch. This place's got everything: a great atmosphere, something different from other run of the mill restaurants in town and also more importantly great food! This place is the perfect blend of bar and restaurant in the evenings which I easily enjoy most for the night out. Above all, their Bellini and French 75 are to die for! Lire plus

I don't appreciate the other "SarahBaker" using my name to spread such lies. I've been a member since march 2011 and have loved every minute! I've tried regular gyms, team sports and going for daily walks and after a few weeks I would loose motivation, get bored and never see results. I've lost 6 pant sizes in about 5 months and have been going 3-5 times a week since I joined. I've NEVER done that for longer than a few weeks in the past!! AND I now look forward to working out. I started working there in August, and haven't looked back. We don't pressure or intimidate. We just want you to give your best. Whatever that may be. A few weeks ago I found a new bookstore on lougheed highway beside the smile Thai restaurant. I went in looking for two specific sets of books. Both of these sets have been difficult for me to collect. so he pulls half the books off the shelves for me and a week later; he lets me know he has found the rest for me. I love my other two regular stores, but was thrilled to have my work completed for me. They have a great feel to the store and have an awesome detox tea in their collection. it's worth going in just to smell the different tea blends. If you turn at benjamin moore paints and drive behind to the end you will see a litte yellow building and that is your destination. Good parking off the lougheed. Enjoy. Lire plus

Yaletown Brewing Company was one of the first restaurants involved in the revitalization of Yaletown and the fact that they're still here has got to tell you something. They make good food and, since they are a brew pub, they make great beer. Like all the other Mark James Group restaurants they offer the cheap beer and pizza nights that my family and I enjoy so much but quite often we head here for all the other great items on the menu too! If you can't decide which beer you want to try ask the server for one of their tasting flights where you get four different beers to sample. The location is outstanding and they have a lounge on one side and restaurant on the other so if you just want drinks and appys after work they are a great spot to choose! Last time we were there I had the Jakarta bowl with lamb tenderloin in a soy sauce with peppers and it was outstanding, My folks were with us and they swore by the fish and chips as well. One other cool thing that Yaletown does is if there is a game on at Rogers Arena they offer shuttle service to the game. So go on down to Yaletown Brewing Company and check them out! Lire plus

Most people know what Starbucks does. For those of you that don't they are a great place to go for coffee-based beverages, smoothies, pastries and sandwiches. One of the things Starbucks does well is consistency, most times your favourite beverage is made well and the way you expect it. Let's face facts. Most Starbucks stores are more are less the same but that doesn't mean that they don't have differences. Here's what makes this store different. They are one of few drive thrus in the city and they are a convenient stop on the way into the city. They are not as convenient on the way out of the city but it can be done if you don't mind a circuitous route. The only problem with this store is that I have sometimes had some poor quality with my beverage. This is difficult when you have already continued on your way so i always make sure I take a sip before I pull away. Lire plus

Vraiment un incontournable si vous avez de jeunes enfants! La nourriture est délicieuse...la meilleure pizza, les meilleurs pâtes, tout fait avec des ingrédients locaux et biologiques. Parfait si vous avez des enfants allergiques aux arrachides, c'est un établissement qui n'utilise aucune noix dans sa cuisine. Il y a une petite cuisinette ou les enfants peuvent jouer pendant que papa et maman relaxent. Réservez une table à côté de l'aire de jeux pour surveiller vos petits sans avoir à vous déplacer. Les employés sont très chaleureux et adorent les enfants. C'est très bruyant et les enfants sont partout! C'est notre resto préféré pour sortir en famille à Vancouver. I stop at this Starbucks quite often on the way to work and they offer a great Starbucks experience here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they do a good job of remembering the drinks of the regulars. A friendly hello and a wish for a good day go a long way in providing a quality experience and they do a good job in this respect. They are also obviously committed to delivering a quality product as I have almost always had a great beverage here and on the one time I didn't they gladly remade it and offered me a free drink coupon for next time. Not the greatest location in the world scenery wise but they make up for it with great customer service! Lire plus

Really great little gem in Port Moody. Has such a local feel. Big patio, and quite a large seating area inside. The coffee is pretty good, as are the snacks! Lots of non-caffinated drinks as well.
