Je suis allee manger pour la 1ere fois a ce restaurant aujourd hui 11 mai 2017, c etait vraiment excellent, je vais y retourner c est certain, je ne comprends pas certains mauvais commentaires, je sais que les gouts ne sont pas a discuter, mais la nourriture est vraiment excellente, c est fait maison et absolument delicieux. Really enjoy the sushi here!! Haven't tried dinner yet, but the lunch menu is awesome!! They have new items on the menu, like the szchezuan chicken, which is like buffalo kickers almost!! The staff is really courteous and prompt, and love the atmosphere, design, and decorations.

Came to Sante with friends from out of town who wanted delicious food in a snazzy environment with a great view. Sante was the clear choice. We were seated in a wonderful table which overlooked the Chateau Laurier and Sussex drive. Our meal was wonderful, fresh, tasty, and beautiful executed. Service was good, our server was very knowledgeable and recommended our wine which we loved. Only negative was the cappuccino machine was not working, so we settled for a coffee.
Great place to bring out of town guests! Will be back very soon!

Cheap and Delicious food, it is easy to miss until you have been there, the place may be a little difficult to find but you can get a great meal and could expect to pay anywhere between $9 to about ~$17, a great deal for the food you are getting. Not only is it delicious but it is also filling. The owner is extremely friendly and you get your meals quick.
The atmosphere is great and is definitely welcoming, and the closest I could find to a problem (which is definitely much closer to being a nitpick) is that if you are both vegetarian and gluten free you are out of luck (however if you are one of those things, there is something for you).
Better than most ethnic places I have been to in Ottawa, and once you find it once it is much more accessible than the comparable restaurants that often are in the centre of town. I look forward to my next experience there.
EDIT: Also it is designed to be a dinner place and the meals feel that way, if you have a choice of going there for either dinner or lunch I would recommend going there for dinner, although I here they are fairly busy around dinner time.
