I love Ikea! I have been a costomer sice it arrived in Calgary at its first location in the North East. I was thrilled when it moved to Deerfoot Meadows as I live in Parkland. I called late at night to ask if the ice cream machine was still on, and was greeted by a manager named Rebecca. She was fantastic and showed me excellent customer service by quickly informing me of the schedule of how long they would have the machines open. This was our first time at Swiss Chalet. The restaurant was quite busy for 4PM Sunday, but not packed. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The waitress seemed to be in a hurry. Looks like they were short staffed. She messed up our drinks and the cook never brought us the buns we were supposed to get with our meal. My tea cup had something dried up on it (looked like brown sugar), which I had to scrape off with my fingers :)))) I didn't bother asking to get a new one. The food was very tasty, although the dessert (sundae) was far too sweet . Overall a nice little lower-middle class restaurant with good atmosphere. The service could be better though. Lire plus
