I was surprised, and skeptical, to read the review in which the poster claimed to have been charged for work not done. Ive used Ralphs for over 30 years, and my parents for longer than that, and their work is top of the line. The prices are a bit steep, but, hey--one gets what one pays for. I unreservedly recommend this business to anyone who needs leather goods, and/or shoes and boots repaired.

I have used this shop times over the years and have always been very happy with the service and care I received. I believe they are honest with appraisals and work, and fair with prices. I once owned a FORD that had electrical issues, Ford dealership did not know how to fix their own vehicle. I brought it to Southside and they repaired it for me, no problems. A Ford service dealer had flagged the need to replace the brake pads of my Ford F 350 tow truck. I made an appointment with Budget Brake & Muffler in Coquitlam, BC to replace my brake pads before embarking on a RV trip. I was pleasantly surprised when John Sinkie told me that my brakes were good for another 20,000 k’s & did not need replacing at this time. I find this honesty refreshing & rare. I will be using Budget Brake in Coquitlam for the service needs of all my vehicles. Well done John.
