The guys working here are very honest. It's a refreshing change from what I'm used to - previously needing to do my research so I don't get taken advantage of at other repair shops. I have had such positive experiences with my vehicles - & was reasonably charged - that I've recommended their shop to neighbours and friends. Not surprisingly, many go there with their vehicles as well, & had the same things to say about them. I value honesty in a repair shop & am worry-free when I drop off vehicles

The courtesy shown, individualized attention to customer's observation and need and timely service offered were hallmarks of a truly professional service team. My 2013 CRV had its engine actuator replaced which became faulty later. Frank (proprietor) replaced it with no cost to me. He could have easily charged me. He is very honest, knowledgeable and family oriented. I can recommend him to anybody looking for a good and honest repair facility in Ottawa.

These guys are every good,fair and honest as good as my friend suggest. I brought in my 2009 Toyota Camry , knowing there was some work that needed to be done. They did it for $450 lower then the original quote that i got elsewhere . I was informed throughout the process and given best case and worst case scenarios and they were very honest in all of their dealings with me.

Honest mechanic, doesn't sell you anything you don't need. Quick, accommodating, (saw me the next day after I called and finished my job in an hour). I asked him to check a few other things for me as I bought my car used and he honestly said I didn't need to fix them.

Was utterly impressed with my recent experience bringing my vehicle into Takaki Automotive for an e-test. Scheduling (and multiple rescheduling) of my appointment was dealt with effortlessly and with a smile by Hiroshi, the owner's son. I was made to feel like I had not inconvenienced anyone and that they would simply re-gig things to accommodate my changing schedule.
My actual appointment was a pleasant experience. I had the opportunity to sit in Takaki's welcoming wait room (where coffee, an aquarium, tv and decorations await) while enjoying my conversation with the friendly receptionist and other staff who would occasionaly venture by. Takaki's team is one big family - happy, respectful and very helpful with all my questions.
I am told Mr. Takaki sr himself is a caring man of many diverse talents. On this visit, the gentleman was busy outside, wielding a huge metal pick to chip ice from the walkway. I hope for the opportunity of chatting with him too, during my next visit.
The fee charged for today's visit was very reasonable; the information provided afterwards was helpful and there was no attempt to "upsell" or solicit additional work. I would highly recommend. this business.
