I have owned a lot of used cars and I've been to a lot of mechanics. It is not often that you find a garage that gives you a feeling of trust and transparency. I felt listened to, respected and they fixed what was needed in a very timely and courteous manner. I will definitely go to Ali's Garage next time I need something fixed again.

After filling up with gas, my car would not start at the pumps at the Husky station adjacent to the Fort Horseless Carriage garage, around 6 in the evening. I was attempting to get on a ferry back to Victoria, but that plan had to be abandoned, along with my car at the garage. The attendant, David, allowed me to push the car in front of the bay doors for the night. I returned at 8 the next morning where I met Gavin, one of the mechanics at Fort Horseless Carriage. I recently visited this clinic in search of better hearing protection while playing with my band. With 4 guitars, sax, harmonica, bass and drums it can get pretty loud. The trouble is everything I've tried is too muffled and they make it very difficult to sing. Dr Marynewich suggested dB Blockers musicians earplugs by Etymotic Research. They have different filters to suit your situation. They are SO comfortable and work great. She was very helpful and so was her office manager Maria. Recommended
