We decided to go to McNies on a Saturday for lunch. We were greated by a very pleasant woman who would be our server. Our food arrived quickly and was great, the fish was nicely battered (not too heavily battered but not skimpy either). The service was also great, my boyfriend decided to get extra fries with his meal and our server told the kitchen to start them while we were eating so that when he was ready to eat them they would still be warm.

I'm normally not the type of person to write a review but when a company has treated you this good I think it's only fair- Monster Plowing has been an absolute rock star when it comes to taking care of my property!
Always on time- Always ensure my all the snow is clear from all of the designated areas (Doorways, walkways etc). I've never had any issue with this company- ALWAYS reliable!
Thank you to the monster team for making living in Canada (especially this year) more manageable!

I don’t have the Store number, but I would certainly like to commend the Management and staff at Metro, Upper Middle Road. At Christmas time I went to a supermarket and asked them to make me a cheese tray, as they weren’t any on the display. They wanted nothing to do with that. So I went to this Metro and within 15 minutes I had my tray. Today I went for a salad and wasn’t sure which one my daughter wanted but the lady in that Department came and helped me. I bought a 2012 Mazda 3 from Mike almost 3 years ago for $8000 with under 100,000 km on it and its still a fantastic little car. I discovered my windshield had a crack a couple days after purchase Mike replaced it for free. I wouldn't hesitate buying another car some day.

I used to live in the neighborhood of this restaurant and would frequent it often. It is certainly not the least expensive Japanese restaurant in the city but I'd be hard pressed to find a better one.
The sushi is always fresh and well made, Maki rolls are seasoned with chives and wasabi. Gyoza and Miso Soup are good, as expected, two things that can't really be done wrong. In the past I've had their lunch bento boxes which are a good value and are of the same quality as their dinner menu.
Only complaints I'd have about this restaurant: Parking is not provided so you're at the mercy of the local pay lots.
Also, when the restaurant gets really busy it gets very tight as it is a small place, and service gets really slow, But with that being said the owners are very kind and friendly.
Overall, a very good restaurant with excellent food.
