I'm on a tight budget and they gave me a great deal there staff are very personable and do there job right and on time...they quoted me with a price go fix my fuel pump and they stuck to it and even had it done early... do if your on a budget and want a bang for your buck I recommend them!!! I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. I'm a woman and all the staff are respectful. They don't talk down to me or over my head. You won't find a flashy waiting room, just honest work at a fair price and good employees comfortable in their work environment. And yes, my '06 Civic is still running well.

Oven board relay was broken. New part was min $600 and one technician was surprised we would consider replacing it and not just buying an entire new oven. Our oven is only 2 years old. Doug took the board and fixed the relays instead and I am so happy we didn't have to buy a new oven. I know he is hard to get a hold of sometimes but he is very kind and helpful, just very busy.

I've taken a few vehicles here, including a 2004 Rx-8, a 96 Miata and a 2011 Grand Cherokee. The work is always done in reasonable time and at a reasonable price, with no surprises. I always get a phone call if there's a delay or when the car is ready to pick up. Two thumbs up!

Howard and Jason are so helpful. I can’t get packages at our address and so they go there. People expect them to deliver them but they are only a pickup point and that in itself is SO HELPFUL for me and my family. The people there are really nice and I know it is a real pain for them and they don’t get anything out of it. A big thank you to them!!!!
