Granville Island Toy Company is a great neighbourhood toy store on the Main Street drag. They carry a great selection of Playmobil, Meccano, Wow, and other great brands. The window displays are always excellent and entice passers-by to enter and browse a while. We especially like the full sized Playmobil figures adorning the front of the store. They also carry lots of fun little toys, science toys and even a pinball machine! Next time you're looking for great toys check out the Granville Island Toy Company!

Excellent vacuum cleaner repair at essendene vacuum Abbotsford. Our 20 year old central vac stopped so I took it to the company on my google search. They sold me a filter but still did not work so took my vacuum into them. It was missing a clip to hold the filter against a safety switch. Said they could by pass the switch as they did not have a clip. Choose to take it to Essendene for their opinion as I do not like to by pass safety switches.

The owners bring in several containers a year from Europe focusing on French Furniture. Remarkably low prices for anything comparable anywhere else. Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer.
