This location is one of the best in the city. The portion sizes they give you are well worth it. They deliver and when they do, the food is still extremely hot when it gets to your door to the point where you have to wait to eat it, which is amazing! I was wary to visit this place from the previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! They've done renovations as well as changed their menu. It has been for the better! Our server, George, although new to the restaurant (starting one week prior) was very knowledgeable. I ask as many questions as possible, and I'm glad he could answer most, others he would go to the kitchen to ask any he did not know. One important question was where they source their beef, I was told it is all Ontario beef which pleased me. The Beef Carpaccio was nice, as well as the Beef Wellington. Not the most traditional way to create the dish, but it was still tasty. The pork was nice, although the apple-bacon compote may have been a bit over-the-top on bacon. The Lamb chop was crusted nicely and was done VERY evenly. The dessert was something else. Homemade marshmallows, homemade graham cookies, caramel sauce, and milk chocolate sauce. The marshmallows were on sticks and you have your own campfire that comes along with it. Very novel, very exciting, and the smell of the fire was very close to a campfire. All in all, a good visit. We just moved close to Rays, and stopped in for a couple of beers while a game was on. It has a laid back atmosphere, and the service is great! We have never eaten food here but have looked over the menu and its looks decent. For sure a great place to enjoy a beer and catch up! Decided to have dinner with my mom, sistet and 16months old neice as my mom was celebrating her birthday. Server had a poor attitude, was not pleasant nor engaging. All she did was take orders and not even efficiently; she did not even apologise about bring us the wronf order, she never came back to check in as the other servers did with their guests. She never even tried to upsell for dessert or offer any tips on what she thought was a good drink. She provided less than basic service. poor poor Lire plus
