We are regular customers of this restaurants for the past 10 years give or take. The worst experience has been very good, generally they are excellent. The Service has always been way above avers. Without question it is both my wife’s and my favourite restaurant in the Ottawa regional.

My husband and I have been a customer at the Oak on March Road since the first day they opened their doors. We have been patrons ever since, loved the staff for their friendly attitude, and the way they have cared over the years for their clients. Today this atmosphere has not changed and the staff, although younger are ever so caring and warm towards their customers. Cannot imagine going to a different establishment for a pub to relax in and enjoy the company of friends

I stopped in for pasta night with my fiancé and everything was lovely. The host and waitress were both very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant and on the patio (we sat in both locations as I was a bit warm on the patio) was fun. Our drinks, appetizers and entrées all came exactly as expected and were delicious. I noticed while sitting there that there are drink and food specials every day of the week so I will definitely be back.

I really enjoy East side Mario's regularly. They usually have a good selection of food, a nice ambiance and speedy service. However, last time i went was during patio season and the amount of flies lying around our indoor table was just awful. I was definitely not impressed.

Love this place! The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. The thai coconut chicken and yellow curry are mouth-watering. I don't usually dine-in, but takeout service is always good. I moved away from the area but still go here for thai food. So delicious.

If you only have a one hour lunch then this is definitely NOT the place for you to eat at that time.
We arrived and it was busy. The place seems cramped but it appearred to be clean. We had reserved a table for noon and waited a while to get seated. When the waitress finally made it to our table we ordered drinks and our food at the same time. It took a long time just to get our drinks and a very long time for our food. It ended up being an hour and a half lunch. Most other restaurants in the area offer a quick lunch so people can get back to work in a timely fashion. This is where The Wood falls drastically short.
The food was good, this I will not dispute. By burger was juicy and cooked perfectly and the salad with balsamic dressing was fresh and nice also. Unfortunately the speed of service will have to keep me away from this restaurant.
