You get the feeling that this restaurant might be good judging by the line-up of people waiting for a table. We went on warm weekend evening so did have to wait to get a spot on the patio, but it was worth it. The service was excellent despite the restaurant being so busy. The food was amazing and the value was unexpected - Order a one-piece dinner and you get 2 pieces of fish, order 2 pieces and you get 3, etc. Don't let the line-up deter you, this place is great. If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Safe to say Charlie's is my happy place. Ohhh and the view isn't half bad either ? Go see for yourself Lire plus

I thought that the staff was great, the food was delicious, the wait was not long at all, and the atmosphere was really fun! They had a great menu (much of their ingredients were either local or home-made) and their patio seats have one of the best views of the beach I've ever seen. The place itself was very clean and cozy. I would definitely give it 5 stars out of 5 and I will definitely be returning to try out other menu options. Really easy to find as it is just across from the pier. One of the highlights of my trip to the beach and a must try for anybody looking for an awesome place to eat in White Rock. :) Lire plus

This is a great place for hanging out with your friends. You can eat and chat for as long as you want. The burgers are great and the bottomless drinks and fries are just very attractive! I have been a customer here for several years and always been pleased with the service and quality of food. I recently was there on an extremely busy evening and found all of the servers to be efficient and courteous, as the cooks kept things rolling at a fast pace. I don't normally write reviews but in this case it was well deserved. My wife and I ate at this restaurant and like most were blown away by the customer service we received. They greeted us first by opening the door for us, checked on us during our meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and thanked us at the end for coming and opened the door for us when we were done. I honestly felt like I was in a small town restaurant and cannot say enough good things about this A & W. Lire plus
