Tour de feast cafe

After running the successful Tour de Feast Restaurant in North Vancouver for a little over two years, Dhruv Jhanjee (DJ) and his brother, Kunal, decided it was time to branch out. "We found a really good location and thought it would be perfect for a café," says Kunal. "So we opened here in the summer of 2014, serving breakfast and lunch."

The food at Tour de Feast Café is influenced by traditional French cooking with a North American twist. "Our breakfasts can be considered traditional breakfasts, with eggs, sausages, ham etc. But we add a little bit of the French style,” Kunal explains. One example would be the breakfast cassoulet—a famous dish from the Toulouse area of France featuring Swiss cheese, sausage, lardon and poached egg. "It's a really popular item," says Kunal.

"We take pride in the quality of the ingredients we use," Kunal explains, "because we believe that in order to make a good dish, you have to start right. Use the right ingredients and something good will always come out!" With that in mind, everything served at Tour de Feast Café is made from scratch, either in the café or in the restaurant.
