Delicious!

This is a great spot for fish and chips on the beach. Lots of flavourful fish, fresh cut fries and delicious tartar sauce. Light batter not heavy and greasy which some seem to offer with great pride. Generous portions but not ridiculous. Cool British styled décor as well. Highly recommend this place. The only downside is they could use a little more staff on busy days. Enjoy!

Fabulous Fish and Chips...and More!

The Fishboat is not your ordinary fish and chip joint. All of the standards are present including halibut, cod, prawns and scallops. And the standards are anything but Standard at the Fishboat. The batter is light and crispy instead of dripping in oil, soggy and mushy. The coleslaw even gets the same treatment and seems to be mixed fresh on each batch rather than being left to marinate in the dressing for hours. What's more if there is anyone in your group who is not a fish and chips fan there are even some Indian selections like Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken to choose from. The decor is excellent with well selected nautical artifacts and the East Beach location is prime for a little more relaxed atmosphere. No liquor license (yet?) but a great selection of non alcoholic drinks rounds out a great menu. Try the Fishboat tonight! You won't leave disappointed...or hungry!
