We adopted our puppy here a year ago and he was our very first family pet. I had many concerns on where to adopt, and whenever I visited the store the staff in Pet Habitat were always so kind and guided us through the adoption. Till now whenever we encounter a problem I don't hesitate to call Pet Habitat for help and they gave us just the right advice and solution we needed, such experts! The folks at In the Raw, Jill and Rob, and their talented team are simply the best to be found anywhere in Vancouver. Their knowledge and willingness to help and advise pet owners is fantastic. I was so surprised after my visit to this store. I have informed myself and read endless of information about petstores and getting a puppy. We were in search of a hypoallergenic one, good with kids and small breed. We meet a few puppies but I feel in love here. The staff were so nice, welcoming, knowledgeable, kind, humble. I wasn't intimidated like I have been in the past with other breeders and rescue places. They let us take the dogs outside, play with them and spend as much time as we needed. They answered all of our questions and more!!!
Unfortunately, I am heart broken because my hubby had an allergic reaction and we won't be able to get a dog at all. We tried almost all the "hypoallergenic breeds (Labradoodles, poodles, yorkie, havenese)" and no luck.
If something ever changes and with some miracle he is better with dogs I will come back and get my dream dog here!!! Thank you!!!

This is an excellent store, with good prices and a large selection of food, treats and pet accessories.
The staff are friendly, charming and extremely helpful. While we were under quarantine staff created a cat food order which we were able to pay for over the phone, and have it picked up within a very short time.

I phoned this store in the evening, because my dogs were out of food, and I needed to know what time they closed. The manager informed me he was closing right now. When I informed him of the situation, he told me he would stay open an extra half an hour to accommodate me. I rushed down, and was able to get my dog food. This store will have my business for as long as I live in the lower mainland!

Took two big dogs to the Bosley's in Trenant Park Square in Ladner today to bathe them. Was very impressed with the staff as they were extremely helpful and friendly. And, the dog washing area was clean and had everything I needed - including treats for the dogs! (One dog does NOT like getting into the bath). Highly recommend!

Helpful and friendly staff. The store is cat-friendly and dog-friendly so you can bring your buddy inside with you. Solid selection of toys and high quality food. They sell cat harnesses. Prices are very reasonable. Overall a great locally owned business.

Dr. Anderson is an excellent, knowledgeable, experienced vet. Extremely informative, patient, and caring, he is willing to discuss any concern you may have for your pet. Hes also very funny! Veterinary hospitals are private hospitals mind you, and vet bills can be expensive if pet owners do not practice preventative medicine for their pets. I think Dr. Andersons fees are reasonable (cheapest check-up fee around for a cat) and he goes above and beyond teaching good pet care.

Wow this store deserves a high rating not a low one. After the pet store within Metrotown closed due to the strikes, this store is a bit busier than normal but still nice.
The staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly and it’s worth to come in just to see the adorable animals (especially kittens) up for adoption. Proceeds from adoption go to charity too. But if you’re wanting to adopt please consider the adults cats, not just kittens who are often adopted very quickly.

I have been coming here for years. They have very experienced Japanese groomers and have never once had aBad haircut for my pup. The staff there is always so sweet and welcoming. It’s no wonder they are rated best of Vancouver year after year.
