I have brought multiple pets to this hospital over the years.My pets have visited them multiple times whenever they had problems. Whenever there was a problem Dr. Rana would tell us step by step what needs to be done to return them to a good health. If there are any surgeries performed, our pets received great treatment. They are very caring, calling us multiple times to check on the recovery of our pets.
The staff is very cheerful and friendly! From the attention and petting they have given my cats and dogs i can say that they must be big animal lovers!
I have recommended this place to my friends and they enjoy the service here too!

100% recommend this vet. Every time we visit we always get our issues solved with out dog. Doctor Chaudhry is truly a kind loving and caring to animal person. We feel much better after meeting him regarding our puppy’s sickness. He is someone who is willing to put down his own things to care for the betterment of animals!

Dr. Anderson is an excellent, knowledgeable, experienced vet. Extremely informative, patient, and caring, he is willing to discuss any concern you may have for your pet. Hes also very funny! Veterinary hospitals are private hospitals mind you, and vet bills can be expensive if pet owners do not practice preventative medicine for their pets. I think Dr. Andersons fees are reasonable (cheapest check-up fee around for a cat) and he goes above and beyond teaching good pet care.

They are my rabbit's veterinary clinic, and they are very knowledgeable and compassionate about her care. They are open and honest about their billing and what they do, and their prices are reasonable. I found the vet to be very honest about my rabbit's health and about test results and treatments to be done. I would recommend this veterinary clinic to others, especially those with household pets other than dogs and cats, as it can be hard to find clinics knowledgeable about these pets.

They made it easier on me, longer with a decent life for my baby and left me not feeling like a failure. That takes talent, and that is what matters most in a vet. The vets and staff really took the time and cared about my dog Spyro, they all treated her so well. When she had to be put down due to illness and old age (18 y.o.) they were compassionate and sincere.
I am forever thankful to them for extending my little girls life and keeping her as active and healthy as possible right to the end.

Amazing experience. I was referred to Dr. Harry by a friend of mine as I wasn't happy with my previous veterinary clinic that I had been going to for 7 years, so I booked an appointment and took my 7 year old Morkie to get her annual check up. I cannot say enough good about Amherst. The staff is incredibly kind and highly professional. Our little dog, Casey, received the most gentle treatment and plenty of treats. When she became sick with mitral valve disease, Dr. Wark was always available and diligently cared for her. Casey did die, but, we are so thankful that her last months were filled with love. Amherst was a great support and continues to be as we nurse our 18 year old cat, Tiger, through her golden years. Dr. Yuen is making sure that Tiger enjoys every one of her nine lives. There have been several times where my heart was broken and I thought it was the end, but, through highly capable diagnosis, we still have our little girl. I can call anytime and come dashing in a minute before closing and I am always greeted by the kindest front end staff I could ever hope for. Amherst has been a part of our family for so many years and I could not be more grateful for the journey we have been privileged to share with this top-rate veterinary clinic.

The Doctors and staff are the best! Two years ago, my brand new puppy was diagnosed with possible hip displasia. Total bill, $6,800 - $8,000 for surgery, etc. Instead, I was told it was possible that the condition could be "environmental" instead of genetic. Especially since neither parent had it. Also, she was too heavy for her undeveloped bones, plus I walked her too long and too often. She was put on anti-inflammatories, I carried her when needed and I followed their plan. It was only 4 months and totally worth it. She turned 2 in March. She has regular check-ups. She has absolutely NO signs of hip displacia! THANK YOU Coquitlam Animal Hospital! My last vet wouldn't have given me another option and would have completely drained my bank account.

I brought my ferret here because he had a chipped tooth and a piece jammed up into his gum line. They gave me all my options up front and let me decide what I wanted to have done which I loved. On drop off day they let me bring my little big to the back. Very affordable and there were no problems healing. Highly recommend this vet, I will be going back
