The Capilano Suspension Bridge is great family fun. The central part of this attraction is of course the bridge itself. 80 metres above the Capilano River it is often gut-check time to head out on the bridge and take a look over the side as it sways with the other visitors or, worse, the breeze. There isn't much to worry about but it is an exhilarating experience nonetheless. Beyond the bridge there is another equally exhilarating experience in the Treetops Adventure. Picture being high above the forest floor and going from tree to tree on a series of suspension bridges and getting to rest on platforms attached to the trees. Very cool. They have a great gift shop and lots of opportunities to learn about the history of the bridge and the first nations history in the area. A great deal for local residents too is that you can buy an unlimited membership good for a year for the same price as regular admission. Lire plus

A great restaurant with a really cosy, warm atmosphere. Were there during our honeymoon and the staff was really pleasant. The food was very good, if a bit pricey. Tried one of the BC wines and was surprised by how good it was. Service could have been more attentive but was sincere and friendly when we got it. How much do I like this restaurant? My wife and I had our post-wedding celebration here with about 20 of our closest friends and family. We knew this would be a great choise as we wanted a restaurant that wasn't overly expensive, had a great staff and of course a great menu. And Zefferelli's has all of the above. Besides the complimentary bread and tomato dipping sauce, my favorite aspect of this restaurant is the food preparation. A lot of italian restaurants simply boil the pasta and then add the sauce. Zefferelli's actually uses a wok to fry the pasta after it has been boiled to give it a better texture and taste. It doesn't sound like much but it really helps. And for a restaurant that is as well kept and in such a prime location (Robson Street) it is extremely affordable. It's a great place to take a date or to take your picky out-of-town guests. We had a lovely table by the window so we had a nice view. Overall ambience is very bright and contemporary. To our benefit the restaurant was not that busy on a weeknight and we parked very close. The service was very good. We enjoyed their daily flatbread special and crab cakes to start. For our mains we went with halibut and osso bucco, both too were very good and cooked just right. And to finish went with a delicious choco molten cake just perfect to share. Lire plus
