H.O.R. Club- Bruce County - Review of Best Western

The Best Western Governor's Inn says classy from the moment you pull in the driveway and the lobby and professional staff continues this feeling. From a beautiful lobby to a restaurant/lounge that has the rich, comfortable feel of fine leather (although for the record there was no leather).Our server was attentive, polite and quite pleasant and although it was obvious that she was pushing the buffet there was no problems when I ordered off of the menu. This place gets a perfect 10 when it comes to atmosphere. I ordered the Governor's Chicken Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and the garden mix. The chicken schnitzel was prepared quite to my liking, cooked to perfection, moist on the inside and the breading was wonderfully crunchy and seasoned perfectly. The mashed potatoes were quite good, fluffy and smooth, and clearly not instant (a pet-peeve of mine is instant potatoes). The garden mix consisted of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green and red pepper slices and was steamed to perfection. I rate this meal a 9 out of 10, nearly flawless. Overall this restaurant gets 9.5 out of 10 and will say that I will defiantly be eating there again.

Great, friendly service with excellent meal...

Great, friendly service with excellent meal choices for vegetables, salads, and a variety of meat dishes, cooked well (not dried out like most other buffets). Excellent spot!

Went for the buffet at dinner, for the price of...

Went for the buffet at dinner, for the price of it figured it would be something classy. Not much choice, mostly salads. Some of the food was good, some of it was not at all.
