went with a group of colleagues and were seated at a great table. service was quick and attentive. they were open to making dishes without meat or making other slight alterations. the appetizers were all delectable (others had caprese salads and calamari) and worthy of sharing. the majority of the party had veal marsala which is apparently their specialty and was highly praised. as a vegetarian, i found there to be much to choose from, and the orecchiette was a good choice (bacon omitted).
the atmosphere was modern and simplistic. the price just a teeny bit high but all in all, a good experience! even worth the drive to mississauga!
The food was quite good, we did have to wait for an almost an hour for our food to arrive.
My mother ordered a medium rare steak and it was more well done. The special of the night was excellent. Over all, we had a good time and will consider returning again in the future.
I tried this restaurant during the Taste of Clarkson. The osso bucco was great but the risotto was gummy! Dessert was a bread pudding which was extremely rich and decadent. Service was attentive.
Food was nice and very well presented, service was OK. I was not impressed that the Tip was included in the overall price of the bill. I thought it was very cheeky and would have preferred to make my own decision on the tip amount.
We had an excellent late Valentine's Day dinner at Solstice. The bruschetta was perfect, the caesar salad was really good. I had the spaghetti alla pescatore, but I asked them to do a substitution for me (remove the mussels) and they happily obliged. Our server was very attentive and pleasant, and we had a great time talking to him. My boyfriend's veal parmigiano was very good - I almost wish I ordered that instead! Our evening was very special because we got engaged right before dessert, so I don't remember too much about the tiramisu... overall, the food was excellent and we can't wait to go back.
We are planning our wedding reception next year in the private room and hope to get back there for a dinner or two in the meantime.

We worked with the restaurant to make a special 4 course dinner for our group. They gave several different choices for each course and even printed our company logo on the menu. When we had booked this event I was a little worried about giving everyone such a complex menu because of the size of our group (32), but the event was perfect from begining to end. My bosses were very impressed. The best holiday party our company has ever had. We were very happy and can't wait to return next year.
My husband & I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here with 30 of our friends and family. We have been coming here for sometime and thought this would be the perfect place to celebrate. It was our turn to choose the Restaurant for our Monthly Diner Party Group. So we choose a new place where none of us have ever been, it is always a gamble when deciding to try out a new place. This time the gamble paid off. Great food and service. The Blue cheese crusted Beef Tenderloin was the best peice of meat I have eaten in my Life. I would expect a meal like that from a High end Steak House. We will be returning very soon to try some other items they all looked great.
A great place for lunch or dinner. Beautiful decor, Good variety (something for everyone). A very welcoming staff. Nothing else like it in mississauga. Perhaps the best creme brule i've ever had.

We saw an ad promoting a special 3 Course Menu for $25.00 and we thought it would be a great chance to try a new place. What a great find. The food was outstanding and the service was splendid. We can't wait to return to try thier regular menu. We will recomend Solstice to all of our friends.
