Bronte Movers

Company is a scam artist. Owner Chris is fraudulent and doesn't care. I signed the bill of lading at the end of the move where both parties agree to a price to be charged for the job. I was charged hundreds of dollars more. I called asking why I was charged more than what was signed off on and they said they have the right to charge up to 10% more. Now they will not return the excess funds they charged me, which is essentially stealing. I have reported this to the police. Avoid this company!!!!!

Best moving company in Southern Ontario, and such great staff to work with. Would recommend this company anytime.

Terrible experience

Wish I had read the reviews.......Chris is very defensive, and the entire staff refuses to acknowledge when something goes wrong. Items werected missing and damaged but bronte refused to deal with it. Chris is a bully and very aggressive. Veronicanever listens. Waste of money to use this company. When Ralph was in charge things were very different.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!

One of the guys flooded a toilet just before he left. He didn’t let us know and made no attempt to clean it up. The water caused damage to our basement ceiling. We spoke to Chris who was very rude. He said their guy didn’t do it and it’s not their fault that we have bad plumbing. A plumber confirmed there was no issue. Our lawyer spoke with him; he said we were lying. They were negligent and it’s a sign of a horrible company when they don’t own up to problems they caused.
