    I booked an appointment on a weekday afternoon. My 88 year old mother was with me and she was having some difficulty with the curb. Entering the salon, I was not greeted. An older, very rude woman just stared at me. I told her I have an appt for 1pm. "You're 4 minutes late. I cannot help you" The salon was empty. I will never go there again nor refer anybody to this salon.

    Very disappointed in my hair cut. I had to tell her 4 times I wanted it shorter but she never did. Waste of time and money. To have someone not listening. When I left the salon. It didn't look much different then when I went in except for the back but still wasn't what I wanted.

    Stylist was no show...I sat there for 90 minutes before other stylist finally called her only to find out she wasn't coming. Very disappointed. Ruined my getaway weekend..sad sad business.thanks for nothing .

    Asked for a shampoo and basic ladies cut, nothing special. My hair was cut 3 inches, barely touches my shoulders. Told me blow-dry $4.00 extra. Total cost at cash came to $70.00!!! Breakdown was $25.00 cut and shampoo included, $37.00 blow-dry (shocking), plus tax. Forgot to give me 10% for Senior rate, told me next time I must remind her again at the cash. No refund/adjustment since Manager not there. Prices are outrageous now, no wonder another lady left with wet hair. Never again.

    We, and our family have been going to First Choice for many many years. Never discouraged for price increases, as that is expected. However, it is very inconsiderate increasing hair cut prices by about 15% the first day after being closed for so long. I realize you have lost a lot financially but your customers are not to blame. They have lost a lot as well. Perhaps if we had received a card for 10 or 15% off our next cut, it would have stung a little less.

    all rules should be for everyone but it seems not to be the case. some get special treatment where others are told were doing our best why can certain people make an appt when others are told were not doing that at this time. I was there when an appt was made and I was told twice that I would have to come in and put my name on a list and be told when to come back. when you go back its still a waiting game poor organizing.

    Booked and appointment online was sent an email confirmation. At arrival no clients were in shop 2 stylists working. Couldnt find appointment even whe showed the confirmation. Girl was incredibly RUDE refused to cut my sons hair even when she was showed the confirmation. Said it wasnt HER problem and told to contact head office. Poor customer service not even an apology just sorry about your luck.

    Sarnia ont. I am 85 years old and have been a client for a very long time,I have had great service every time. However imagine my surprise when upon paying my bill I was told. “ sorry we no longer give seniors discounts”. I called head office,only to be told by a robot,” leave a phone number and we will get back to you” ——————— still waiting,and waiting————

    Secured a haircut today at First Choice in Ottawa & was charged $27 plus, plus tip. In February same haircut cost me $23 Im going to get in touch with the Ford government, & BBB see if First Choice is attempting to mislead by a hidden tax because of coronavirus 19. The woman who cuts my hair & my young sons hair for years has done a great (not anymore) first choice is either out for a cash grab or price point is off customer service I would like an email from head office Im not happy ☹

    i walked into the Bowen Road shop in Nananimo....three male customers were just leaving ..i was immediately attended to by one of two smiling lady hairdressers..one..named Hayley..took me right away..and ...in no time at all...my hair was done ...perfectly.....and professionally... Hayley was fast and thorough ...a wonderful example of an employee committed to excellence..her cheerful and kind manner put me at ease and made this a very pleasant experience.... great service!

    I entered the salon in my area at 7 15 p.m the store hours are till 8 p.m, there were no other customers in the salon, I asked for a wash and blow dry , and they said they were closing early and to come back in the morning , if the store is open till 8 why did they refuse the business

    port elgin, Ontario--they use a list that customers can call from home and be put on a list. I came in with me being next as a walkin and was told it would be 2 hours. Fortunately the phone rang with two cancellations and so they took me. The list should be for the customers in the salon not for at home people. I thought this was a walk in salon and they way they are doing it, it is the same as appointments. This is not fair or right.

    yesterday, I had my roots done by lisa @ the 2nd avenue location, she did an excellent job … and was most gentile in her approach, unlike the aggressive and abusive experience I had in august with Cheryl, who left the bleach on for 15 min., if not longer, after the timer went off … I had breakage from her negligence, also she left dark hair in may, and the 1st time I had her she was extraordinarily aggressive combing my hair... horrible experience

    So I took my son for haircut today March 16 2019. Meenu was the hairdresser at your Derry and Terragar location. First she screwed up haircut and was rude and was literally yelling to justify herself. She cleaned him and put him off the chair and when I start to check his hair she was like , oh the haircut is not finished. So you still have one week to come back to get it fixed. Are u kidding me??? This woman does not understand what it means I need to get fade for my son. Never going back there

    The Asian woman at the Forestglen Plaza First Choice Haircutters was very rude. She asked me why I had nothing better to do than to go get my hair cut while the World Cup Soccer game was on TV.

    All my family goes to there all the time. They are so friendly and quick service. But I never ever go back again . Today my 12yrs son went by himself. JENNY CUT ALL THROUGH his hair. My son just lost words and Too late to stop cutting. Because JENNY never use scissors started using machine to the end. My son came back crying so hard. Also my son said that other person starts cutting bottom but she started cutting his top of hair so short. As a parent, I never see that such a upset my son
