Excellent Food!!
Lived in Welland for over twenty years and have always heard about "The Rex" but never stepped foot in there until now. This is a great Italian restaurant with excellent food. The service was good and prompt even though they were quite busy, the food was marvelous, and I was very surprised with the portions that you receive. The decor seemed a little old, but was fitting with the history of the old King Street buildings. Highly recommended.

Delicious Veal Parmesan and gnocchi but it doesn't compare to their Thin Crust Pizza....OMG amazing

Long time customer
Others come and go but the Rex has been there "forever". Never changes (That's GOOD) Excellent value. Order the lasagna made with pork and the dinner rolls made with pizza dough.
