Furnace quit 2 days before Christmas, Rob and his team had a new furnace installed the day before Christmas and we had a warm house for Santa to visit. Rob and his team were very helpful and professional. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Called Charrois Heating & Air after the AC filled the house with a smokey smell - right at the beginning of a heat wave. They were onsite a couple of hours later and quickly diagnosed the problem. The technician had to go pick up a part and we were back up and running an hour later. Professional, efficient, dependable, and reasonably priced! Thanks Charrois Heating and Air!!!

The team of Chuck, Jay and Doug arrived as promised. Great teamwork. I witnessed a professional installation being carried out. The guys endured (lol) all my questions and all went well. The new A/C instal went well outside. Chuck spent time setting up the furnace just before he demonstrated it to me. This York furnace runs so quiet. Im fussy! The air conditioner at my business died on the hottest day of the year - what could be worse than that ??? When Mike came over to take a look he mentioned it might be the compressor and because I was so desparate to have it working, I approved the $ 1200 or so that it would cost to replace it with a new one.
In the end, some sort of a power boost was all that was required to kick start the unit and the compressor !!!!
Dave and Mike saved me a thousand bucks !!! This is the type of honesty that we need more of in business. Thank you for being above-board in your dealings with customers- continued success in your business.

We had our heat pump fail on New Years a couple of years ago. Called one company who came out and took out a part that was causing the heat pump to fail. So he hooked up so our electric furnace would keep us warm. It did of course, but we then used a lot more electricity- enough that the Hydro company called because our bill/usage had skyrocketed.
Unfortunately, this company didn't deal with replacing a heat pump. We found one dealer who came out and said a particular part was kaput, so we needed to replace the furnace and the heat pump. and gave us a price.
At that point, we figured if it was the whole system to replace, we should check out another quote. So one of the companies we called was Grand River. Bill came out assessed the situation. He found that that part could have been replaced for a lot less than the whole new system.
In the end, we did replace the whole system, partly because there were government incentives at the time which gave us about a $1000 in rebates. And we appreciated Bill's honesty and expertise.
Our system was over 20 years old and the heat pump compressor was not in the best of shape.

I remember their friendliness last year when I bought a battery from them. This year I decided to buy the five remaining batteries for my golf cart and was totally blown away from the initial phone call to check stock to the excellent counter service from the chatty girls in the parts department. By the time I had the bill paid the man working there have the new batteries in my pick up and was unloading the old ones all that with a handshake and the best price I could find on batteries.
