While in Stratford to see a play. we dropped in to the Boar's Head Pub. I had been there twice before, and thought my husband would like it too. Since we had had a late lunch we decided to have drinks before the play, and come back afterwards for something to eat.
About 6:30 pm, we ordered draft (a Strongbow for me, and Coors Light for my husband) and then switched to whiskey. I had an Irish coffee (needed the caffeine before the play) and my husband had a rye and coke.
After the play, around 11 pm, we returned. The place was rockin', with a live band and some people who had clearly spent the last 4 hours drinking! It got rather loud, but the music was good.
I had Strongbow, and my husband stuck to rye and coke. The wings were very good -- big, meaty, lightly breaded, and with the right sauce. My husband had honey garlic, and I had hot (the server said it was Frank's Red Hot sauce, which was what I was looking for). There were 7 wings in a one-pound order, with a few carrots and celery sticks and dip, for $8.95 .I would definitely come back for the wings.
The servers were very friendly and attentive during both visits. There were 2 servers who regularly stopped by to check on us, and who made us feel very welcome -- one of them recognized us when we returned, and warned us about the drunks who would be dancing when the band returned from break (she was right!).
As far as pubs go, this one is great -- good food, lively atmosphere, good choice of draft, and great location on one of Stratford's main streets.
The Boar's Head is within easy walking distance of the Tom Patterson Theatre, and slightly farther to the Avon and Studio Theatres.

I did my eyebrows yesterday with Sukh! She did wonders to my brows. It almost made me cry how she gave me confidence to go out without makeup on. She took her time just to make my brow perfect. 10/10 service and Sukh and her daughter are the some of the sweetest People I’ve ever met .

Delicious, surprisingly well priced italian food! Very beautifully decorated inside and even has a patio outside that is nice in the summer. Portions are pretty good for the prices. I would definately recommend this place. Really nice :)

The turnaround for my business cards was super fast and they came out simply awesome ! My logo and the writing came out perfect in raised ink, the glossy raised touch style looked even better than the sample I was shown. When I gave these cards to people, they immediately commented on the texture and the vibrant colours. I will definitely be ordering these again !

Every staff member we were in contact with was professional and warm. The service was excellent and the facilities were spotless and attractive. The prices are what should be expected and wait times are nice and short. We use Finch all the time and will continue to do so. We highly recommend Finch to everyone who reads this review. I have been going to PH Spa & Salon for about 8 months now. I take advantage of Breanne's eye lash extensions and waxing. Bre is professional and talented. She seems to genuinely enjoy what she does for a living. It is her service and skill that keeps me cming back!
I also have had my hair lightened by Amanda. Also a very talented and sweet girl. I recommend this salon to anyone looking for a pleasant and beautiful experience.
I have never had reason to complain about this salon. The only thing I would like to see improve is the owners level of friendliness. He tends to be almost cold. However, the girls working are fantastic!

Julie (the owner) and her assistant are friendly, knowledgable, and willing to make suggestions to help in getting just the right gift for my friends and family. This is a great salon with lots of parking. But the best things are their super stylists and great prices. The first time I went there, I just walked in and they fit me in with very little wait. I always make an appointment now so I can be sure to get Monika who does my hair so well. I have very thick, wavy hair that is hard to cut and style but I have been very happy with it after Monika did it. She managed to give me a style that I could easily do myself. I'm so impressed with her.
